hornceck couldn't work out what offence to roll wit .. plus melos ISO ball ,all the while rose played third option on offence ,and he was still averaging 18 points on his best shooting percentage/usage clip since MVP season

Personal reasons aside, it's definitely not a good fit. Minny needs PG who can run an offense, who's effective without the ball, who can shoot and who can defend. Which basically narrows it down Lowry, Jrue and at a stretch G.Hill.
Minn would be a horrible fit for him. And I doubt his ego would allow him to come off the bench for Rubio or Butler. Most squads are set at PG even the terrible ones. He could come off the bench for the spurs or clippers

Rose is too dumb to play in the Spurs offense. Not even trying to throw shade, but Spurs guards are expected to pass, cut and move the ball.

a lot depends on moving parts this free agency , who stays , who goes ..if your asking me where i would want him 2 played say 'SPURS' should be number 1 option ,
realistically wouldn't want to see him him to resign with the knicks ..but to be honest another season with "hornaceck" and more clarity from coach and the system they wanna run , wouldn't be the worst thing ..
Especially if he is teamed with frank at times and can play more shooting guard and have frank be the playmaker/defensive anchor //
like others for sentimental reasons "timberwolves " would be a nice option - i just don't know how th pieces fit together on the court ..
if jrue gets paid to go else where pelicans wouldn't be a bad destination ..
And "milwaukee" if he can work with there cap space , reality with jabari out, is they could move giannis and have rose run the point guard spot
