PG was a requirement to get Kawhi to sign.

SGA was a necessary sacrifice. It was worth it if your the Clips

I get why they made the move, but I don’t trust that PG/Kawhi will both be able to remain healthy 2-3 years down the road. If they win at least one chip, then it’d be worth the gamble.

I don’t think either one of them can be your #1 option long term, but I’d have more confidence in PG doing it if he could be more consistent.

Jimmy Butler sticks out to me as more of a #2 glue guy on a championship team that does all of the little things that needs to be done and can give you 30+ a night if needed. He brings all of the intangibles needed to win, but his attitude can sometime be offputting to a team and demoralizing to a young team/player. He seems to be doing well in Miami thus far, so maybe he has gotten better in that aspect.

I think Butler is new Era Scottie Pippen. Everything people said about Pippen applies also to Butler, so I guess the real question is how high do you regard Pippen?

I'm honestly not that high on Pippen, however, I do know that if Butler had a chance to play his entire career with the greatest player of his generation, he's sitting on 2-3 rings right now and the talk about who he is as a player would be COMPLETELY different...

PG >>> Jimmy Butler and its not even close

what a dumb debate.

PG took a prime Lebron Heat team to 7 and 6 games in the eastern conference finals

Bulls were up 2-0 when Rondo went down and Jimmy Butler couldn't put away a shytty celtics team.

@CHICAGO ^^^^see I told you Lol...

PG is more talented and a more natural scorer but I think Butler is better at reading the flow of a game, a better playmaker, a better decision maker, and has better IQ. He’s also a straight up better leader.
One thing that’s hella underrated about Jimmy is his IQ. His 3 point shooting has been super trash this year and he still finds different ways to score and affect the game in a positive way

I think players like Pippen and Butler have always been underrated and undervalued to the masses which is why a lot of don’t give them the credit that they deserve. The players know the value and importance of those type of players even if the fans and media don’t think so.

I personally think he’s a top 50 player even if he doesn’t doesn’t have the numbers compared to Jordan and his peers. Intangibles should matter and be accounted for when you’re considering someone a great player or not.

It’s the exact reason why I have Chris Paul #2 on my MVP even over players like Lebron and Kawhi. He’s also a top 25 player for me all time even if he doesn’t win a ring before he call it’s a career.

You mean the series where Roy Hibbert was the team's leading scorer:unimpressed:

The #1 team in the East is a shytty team:gucci:. :stopitslime:at it being Jimmy's fault he couldn't carry the corpse of D Wade and Isiah Caanan to an upset over the #1 seed.

Let him haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttee:damn:

Lawd knows we need newer guys in this league from a newer generation to be hated on more than the same old guy(s) from the last 15+ years.:shaq2:

That shyt is BORRRRING, but the potential for guys like Butler, Giannis, Kahwi, BI, etc to be hated on is :lawd:

We gotta secure our future and not get stuck on the past :ahh:

Lmfaooo, so we’re conveniently forgetting that PG was on track to be a MVP caliber player before he broke his leg in two right? Like that plays ZERO factor in how his career panned out. Like he wasn’t giving Miami with prime LeBron James that work at only 23-24 years old. If PG never broke his leg he’d be as good if not better than Kawhi today, facts.

PG WAS NEVER ON TRACK
TO BE A MVP PLAYER.

PPL LIKE YOU CLEARLY NEVER WATCHED HIM
OUTSIDE OF A FEW HEAT GAMES.

HES A BETTER PLAYER NOW
THAN HE EVER WAS BEFORE THE INJURY.

Paul George was my favorite player tf are you talking about? You’re clearly a dumbass if you think PG wouldnt be in MVP consideration if he played the 2015 season in the East. He’s bounced back nicely but it altered his trajectory. He was considered a 1A type of player now he’s a 1B. Still better than Jimmy Butler in the same role. Jimmy is a 1B player in a 1A position on his team. Again, you’re a dumbass if you think otherwise.

Yes you idiot, who else was gonna provide that kind of production on the Pacers? You’re laughing at 22pts on 42% shoot like those are supposed to be bad numbers. Quit fronting like you know hoops and know what you’re talking about. You’re a special kind of idiot.
