In your case, I think a lot of dudes felt like there wasn't a real chance to really talk to you for real. I mean they probably PM'd and flirted but after a while because it it never turned into anything you were just as unattainable as they thought. But then when they found out you were with Illa they felt they really could have had a chance (even though they didn't) and mad they didn't get chose.
In general we live in the digital age. It's not like snap,craigslist, tagged, tinder or even twitter. It's not AOL or yahoo chat like it use to be and people met complete strangers. You see people's thoughts and opinions about a lot of thingsa nd grow to like them. You see more than you would on multiple dates for a lot of people. It can be deeper because it's purely their mind and not looks. A lot of people hook up on forums for that very reason. There are attractive people here with good personalities. People have been posting her for years, it's easy to get to know someone. Same token there are poster who you know you would never want to meet IRL date or dark alley
