You have a point Phoenix but I think there are a lot of factors involved and I think a lot to lose if dating someone from a forum/social media site doesn't work out. I'm not saying that the parties involved can't have happiness or success. First off I think you have to figure out is the person worth your time and it would make things much simple if both parties lived in the same state. If I have said interest in a female from this site and she lives miles away or across the country it's kind of a pointless if it doesn't work out in the end because it's lost time and money.
