Whats stopping the Celtics from trading for DeMarcus Cousins?

I wouldn't mind him in Houston. Feel like he's worth the risk. Your window of opportunity for contending fades fast in this league.

Also didn't IT and Cousins not get along in Sactown?

Houston isn't a good fit for Cousins

The Celtics need to cash in on the Nets picks, I'm honestly not sold on Ainge's ability to draft. How you gonna praise Giannis, then draft a soft big over him?
:weirdo: Still makes me cringe

legit one of the worst at scouting talent in the league for a decade straight :mjlol:
he literally cant draft an allstar...not even a fringe one :dead:

That's what happens when u draft outside of the top 5 every year, you take risks and there's a big chance they don't pan out. I bet you every other GM has Duds outside of the top 5.

He is as good as gone breh, Philly taking him no doubt. Even despite Lonzo Ball leading UCLA to the championship

We don't know who will pick 1, 2 and 3 as of Right now, Sixers, Nets(Celtics Pick) and Mavs have the same amount of wins. Talent wise the nets have the worst roster and we haven't gotten the yearly Brook Lopez injury Yet....

Those are good picks considering who was in the draft at that time and the pick they had.

they arent considering all the players they passed on. but continue.
good gms find talent no matter where they draft...and outside of 3-4 big 3 years...they havent sustained success long enough to get extremely late first round picks year in and year out like they're the spurs.
danny has flopped repeatedly. miss me.

Because, for as talented an offensive player as he is, he's just as bad a defender, it would be a net zero gain for the Celtics.

Also from the Kings standpoint, he's their golden goose, and they want a Kings ransom (though the time to trade would have probably been at least 2 years ago).

He's very close to that level and was 1st team all defense last year

Look at his numbers then get back to me

Only numbers that jump out are his rebounding and 3 point %

His PER is 16,overrall his numbers arent crazy...Id say right now he probably doesnt get in because there are too many guys in front of him with better numbers esp now that guards and forwards are clumped together for all star voting...that definitely hurts guys like Bradley...other thing that hurts him is the teams record...They arent really a clear No3 so you cant make a great case they deserve a second all star and Thomas is going to get picked in front of him...

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
I don't agree with the idea that he wouldn't put the Celtics over the top, they would be a serious threat to the Cavs with him, mainly because he does represent a matchup problem for them in that they really only have 1 center. A 30/10 big man is going to help a team he's sent to, the Kings have a horrific level of talent surrounding him, have any of yall honestly looked at their starting 5?

He's really not that bad of a defender, he's above average as far as rim protection goes. It wouldn't be a net zero gain for the Celtics, they are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league and lack a true go to scorer that can score against elite defenses, he can do that.

Will he even mesh well with Horford? And didn't Isiah say he was an idiot who annoyed everyone in the locker room with serious convos about whether Tupac was alive?

lol.

I'm starting to believe that rumor about cousins being suge's son.
