he's not all that great of a rapper, unless it's giving you sports references.
raps about getting high,clothes,shoes,drunking and hoes for the dudes
does spoken word, i hated being darkskinned, im still insecure and simp poetry for women
does enough of both to keep his fans interested.

I initially got into him back in '07 cause of the Gogo tracks (Breakdown, Dig Dug, Ice Cream, 1 thing about a player) he did early on but thats an Area thing, so I doubt anybody not from here would understand.

Honestly I haven't really checked out his other stuff I skimmed a few of his tapes an didn't really hear music like the type that's on his MMG debut. Minus the spoken word I think Wale has potential to drop a 5 star album.

I'm from Philly and I first got into Wale right before Mixtape About Nothing Dropped with 100 Miles and Running. Back tracked to Paint a Picture and Hate It Or Love it. I liked all the go go songs and the camp lo influence. I dug all of his music up until his debut album. These days I don't even know what his appeal is.

From what I remember from his debut I didnt think it was that bad. The thing with Wale is idk what his identity is like I cant tell you what type of rapper he is. He does that poetry shyt which is kinda cringeworthy
