I'm all for gun rights. I'm personally own 3. But there's no need for assault rifles. If you need an AK for self defense it's time to reevaluate your pritoritites

these liberals who live in gated & police heavy suburbs can talk all that shyt if they want.... but they don't have to worried about pulling up in their driveway at night or sitting in your home at night in a community where police is understaff or always show up late where dudes and hell kids are packing heat looking to eat off your plate..

And both of these things will happen with 100% certainty .
No one is going to protect you in that instant .

Some psycho just late nite started stabbing folks at a local beach near me. Killed 1 guy and hurt 3 others. I grew up going there and I still go there with fam on occasions.
That's why I keep the 9 on me.
World has changed. Drugs are illegall. But you can get them every where anytime .
What you think will happen if guns are made illegall?

We must stay strapped.

I dont not believe guns should be banned.
It takes the means away for honest people to defend themselves. Criminals will still have guns and police can't be everywhere at once.
As a gun owner I'll say that it's too easy to get a gun though.
In my state, VA, if you want a concealed carry permit all you have to do is take an online class that consists of a 15 - 20 minute video and a multiple choice test of about 15 questions.
You pay for the permit, submit it to the courthouse, they do a background check and a month or two later they mail you your permit.
Buying a gun is easier. Walk up to your local pawn shop or gun show, show them your license, they do a background check, you pay them and walk out.
At no point is it required for you to ever have even SEEN a gun in person, not to mention safely carry and discharge one.
I think guns should be treated like cars. You should have to prove you can handle one safely and take state certified training before being able to buy or carry one and you should have to prove you proficiency every couple of years.

You can't ban guns, that's extremely unrealistic.

You said a bunch of nothing. People drive cars without license all the time. You know nothing about driving until u have access to a car, you know nothing about guns until you have access to a gun. And in both cases bad things can happen. Kids steal cars, people steal guns.

There is a legit reason. YOu have the right to own one.
You should be more concerned about making sure the good guys are ready to protect the weak instead of making eveyone weak through disarmament because a small handful of maniacs went off the handle.
If shyt 10 people in that venue were strapped 50 wouldnt have been killed. Its difficult to shoot easy targets when youre worried about people shooting at you.
