Where was this Wall talk at all year? He's beasted for large parts of the year, especially after his team had the slow start. I thought he should've been in strong discussion for 5th at least in MVP discussion with Isaiah but rarely saw his name mentioned.

I do like his decision making more than Westbrook but I'd probably still take Westbrook by a small margin. I just don't think people realize how badly built the Thunder roster is. A bunch of parts that just don't match in any coherent way. Everybody hyping up Steven Adams is basing that off his play as a 3rd or 4th option that benefitted on having 2 superstars demanding all the attention. He's not somebody you can make a primary focus of your offense. Oladipo is a bad fit due to him needing the ball in his hand to maximize his effectiveness. Like Gil said they are full of one way players who either absolutely kill you offensively or defensively. I think you put a lot more shooters around Russ and you'll see improved decision making. The biggest flaw in Westbrook is his late game decision making. But even with that he was murderous in clutch situations throughout the season and single handedly won a bunch of games late in the season for them. Wall has a better roster to accentuate his best talents.

If OKC can make a move to try and get more shooting around Russ that can play a little bit of D at least then I think you'll see Russ' points come down and see the best out of him.

But Westbrook tired down in the playoffs due to him doing everything? his 4th quarter numbers were terrible in the Houston series just like Wall's.

It's like nikkas have short term memory and forgot when just TWO WEEKS ago the TNT commentators were coppin' please for Westbrook playing like pure shyt.

"HE'S GOT NOTHING LEFT."

"HE LOOKS EXHAUSTED."

"HE'S RUNNING ON EMPTY REGGIE."

"HE'S BEEN TASKED WITH DOING...EVERYTHING :damn:"

shyt made me want to vomit. LeBron would never get that kind of pass. He's such a media darling right now which is hilarious because of how contentious he is with them. That Kevin Durant heel turn suddenly made him beloved.

They were debating if Kemba Walker should make the All Star Game over him

You confuse aggressive with explosive.

Wall is more explosive than Westbrook

Wall is a better player than Westbrook too
Stop being a prisoner of the moment. Now he's a better player? NO ONE was talking about Wall before the Celtics series. He was on NO ONE's "best player" list, and he's in the East where it should be easier for an "elite" guard to stand out. It's been curry, harden, and Russ as the best guards and that's three out of any top five/six list where you have Bron, KD, and Kawhi. Now all of a sudden Wall is the same tier? Wall won't even make it to the Hall of Fame where he is career wise right now.

I never said Wall is on the same tier as Curry, KD, Bron and Kawhi. You did.

I just said he better than Russy.

I dont give a fukk if he wont make the HOF right now based on his career, he better than Russy.

WITH THOSE SHOOTERS, ATHLETIC WINGS
AND FLOOR SPACING...

I THINK RUSS WINS THE EAST
IF YOU SWAP HIM AND WALL.

WALL WOULDNT BE NEAR AS EFFECTIVE
WITH OKCS LANE CLOGGING
NON SHOOTING ASSES.

These dudes just in here parroting. They want Russ to be trash so bad. They'll hype any PG over him. They love to use BBIQ to attack him, but all these supposedly "smart" PGs stay losing. If the Wizards lose to Boston, a bunch of phantom critiques about Walls game will start cropping up.

But he isn't. The man has never even made an All NBA team... IN THE EAST. You guys take things too far. He's great, but he's not at that level. He is a better passing Damian Lillard.
