I'm thinking around ~30k a year in Atlanta.

Honestly, without a degree or trade... that's pretty difficult to achieve here in Atlanta with most regular jobs going through temps and paying $11-13 an hour .

I remember I once had $1100 a month in bills and a $1200 rent to pay. I was making $14 an hour. I damn near had to give up my car payment or move my bytch in to pay half the bills.

How are you REGULAR coli brehs living that's earning less than $16 an hour?...

Just reminiscing on some rough times and how I'm hoping this trucking thing works out.

60k I'd be living like a king.

Exactly....I hate when goofy nggas say shyt like this...:comeon:

I know ppl that can make 30K a year look good. If your not entrenched in debt...have stacked some sort of money...and aren't financially behind the 8ball you can make it work. Even still...you can make it work with a couple of those strikes against you.

I will say location definitely matters...but the truth is some ppl are really good with makin their money work. If your a disciplined individual you can easily get by too...:stopitslime:

What cripples you is being undisciplined with your money and having bad taste. If your tryin to keep up wit the Jones' 24/7...or fakin it to make it (which I've been guilty of at points in my life)...:hubie: your never gonna stay afloat.

60k is not living like a king though. I live in Atlanta by myself. No wife and no kids. Straight bachelor life. I make 60k. I’m about to start seriously looking for a new job and 75k is the minimum I’m taking. Might have to take 70 depending on how it goes. But I’m not taking less than that and it would have to be a great situation. I have no idea why people think 60k is rich or some shyt smh. I literally be feeling like a broke boi sometimes. My aunt told me that I should be grateful cause she never made 60k in her life. fukk all that. We two different people. I’m not comfortable with this shyt. I need more. I don’t even live nowhere near an extravagant lifestyle but 60k ain’t cutting it

I say the same thing. I see on here so many people say 50k is broke, etc.

But how is it broke, if you're single?

These dudes must have families, buy brand new whips, live in expensive places, and spend hella bread because that is not a bad wage.

All you need is to take care of rent, bills, car, gas, haircuts, food, then the rest you can do whatever the fukk you want.

You only need like 40k to survive and save bread. Even if you have debt, imagine if you made 40k and had no car payment or loans or credit card bills?

You could live well on that, but it's always good to strive for more.

I’m actually very frugal. That’s why I know it’s not enough. It’s enough in the sense that I can pay all my bills, save some money, and entertain myself. But I need more than that. People be failing to realize that when you single you paying everything yourself. Ain’t no splitting bills

I don’t even have a car. I live downtown and got rid of it when I moved downtown. I save money by not having a car.
