What year do you think it is right now?I agree. I don't see the point in paying ticket prices just to see someone stand on stage with no energy, with 50+ other folks and half of them holding a mic.

You can love music and not go on tour.Because you love music?
More money?
Rappers are really dummies.
You can love music and not go on tour.
I really don't see what the big deal is.
Anyone that has traveled for a living can tell you that shyt gets old real quick. I did it for 2 years. I'm good on that now. And I didn't have to manage everyone's personalities, deal with shytty promoters, or have my whole sleep schedule fukked up traveling at all sorts of crazy hours.
21 probably plays the shows he wants to play and that's it.
It obviously is.you can’t really compare your experience to 21 savage experience
And if you’re in the business of making music you touring can’t be optional

21 just came off tour.It obviously is.![]()
Why is it stupid?Yes, you the luxury of choosing when to tour or perform and in what conditions. But claiming to be a musician and asking why should tour is stupid.
If 21 says he doesn't worry about touring, the assumption is that he doesn't really feel the need to do it does it not? He didn't go on tour to fulfill any contractual obligations did he?21 just came off tour.
what artist drops projects and don’t tour?
What 21 is saying is capNot saying this is impossible but it seems highly unlikely.
Streaming money is notoriously awful. Hell, record sales money in general is terrible, that's why artists tour/sell merch.
Which is why labels started 360 deals. They wanted to monopolize all revenue streams available to artists.
Now, if he made a general statement about owning your masters, cool. But mentioning sales specifically, when the real money is in touring, merch, and if you're lucky getting your music on movies, TV shows, video games, etc....I don't follow his logic.
And somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I'm not aware of a 21 Savage record that crossed over into the mainstream like a....let's say, "Baby Got Back". Where the artist doesn't have to do jack shyt but sit on their ass and collect royalties, that's how popular that song is.
Fred.
Why is it stupid?
He reaches his audience, stays relevant, and makes the money he desires to make.
