That used to be my take, but I'm at the point where I think it's actually harmful to society as a whole.

How is a society supposed to have reasonable discourse and make rational decisions about issues (like climate change, energy production or agriculture) when you have a large plurality of people who believe (and presumably vote based on) nonsense conspiracy theories?

Flat Earthers are the worst.

My favorite thing about this site is the number of people who are willing to entertain new ideas, who step into threads and learn shyt, who don't have a specific agenda all of the time but still recognize their capacity to grow and develop.

Flat Earthers defy all of that. They stick to one ridiculous idea and deny all arguments, all evidence, all reason. I only have about 5 people on ignore right now and 2 of them are the main two flat earthers on this site.
