Joseph Randle (the starter) had 315 yards in 6 games last year in Dallas. Zeke has 703 yards and 5 Tds in 6 games with our best olineman missing half the games

@ cowboys fans conveniently leaving out the fact that mcfadden was in a time share/not getting all the carries until like 7-8 weeks into last season... and STILL topped 1000+ yds with no qb who could keep the defense honest
AP was beasting with bad qb and oline play but now Gurley gets sympathy.
nikkas put him on AP level and higher than Zeke when really he and Zeke are on the same level if not him lower than Zeke the God

Of course there are exceptions to every rule but comparing a QB to a DB is a bit disingenious. Any follower of football understands that you must have elite talent at that position to win championships. Low impact RBs? No one even bothers drafting RBs in the first round like that anymore. A team will take an elite CB over a elite RB any day. AP and chris johnson are the only first round RBs who amounted to anything. I would add zeke and gurley but the verdict is still out so im not sure how youre making that comparisonm Aside from Richard Sherman and josh noman, the top cover guys have been 1st round picks. Revis, joe haden, patrick peterson, aqib Talib, marcus peters, Jason verrett. Maybe I'm missing the point you're making but I'm not sure how u consider 1st round DBs low impact. Of course there have been busts. Happens at every position but every one of those guys I listed is an integral part of what their team does and forces offenses to scheme away from them and adding to my first post guys like polamalu, bob sanders, Charles Woodson and Ed reed were DPOYs and were driving forces behind their teams winning championships.
There are a whole bunch of teams that would be considered laughing stocks before the Redskins are even thought of.

You don't become overrated running 700 yards for over 5 yards a carry in six games. You don't become overrated running for over 117 yards per game. You don't become overrated when you lead the league in yards after contact.
