I have no idea how often that happens. Maybe once a season. Across the entire league.

I can’t imagine it happens more than 5 times. I have no way of looking it up though. It is extremely rare.
It’s not rare it happen a lot. It happens atleast a couple times a week lol

It’s not rare but it don’t happen a lot. It happens atleast a couple times a week lol

Yeah it happens. I would just point out that the video is a compilation of drops over several years.

I also don’t think it should count when a ball drops in because of a miscommunication between players.

Also gotta add when the infielder throws the glove at the ball when he knows he missed it like Jean Segura did last week.

I've done both. :francis:

They're both embarrassing. :francis:

I'll say that it's harder to make a tackle than it is to make a layup, obviously. But there is a LOT more pressure on making the tackle, so when you miss it you feel 100x worse than you feel when you miss a layup.

when you can see the other football team heart being taken away and they no longer got the will to tackle....that shiit frustrating watching

you know you got they soul when they start throwing shoulder tackles

I’d say a lay-up, it’s not easy tackling a dude, has momentum and the element of you don’t know how he’s going to react ( stiff arm, juke, or lower his shoulder)

Missing tackles :scust:
Watching a play go from a two yard loss or gain to a twenty plus yard play or TD is disgusting. A blown layup is just two points. Missing tackles changes momentum or potentially gives up points
Exactly a missed layup is just 2 points and you get to try over and over again. And teams can go on runs to make up for it later in the game and refs can call a foul to eventually bail you out

Missing tackles is just demoralizing. A missed tackle on 3rd down turning into a touchdown or first down is just painful to watch And more often than not plays like that basically break your teams back and ruin any hope of winning...

Missing tackles is waaay worse

Dropped passes vs missed lay ups would be a better comparison

And I have to say a reciever dropping a pass untouched is 1000000% more frustrating to watch than a missed layup.

Missing layups is worse

With missed tackles there are 11 other guys on the field that could cover your mistake

It's not just about that. There's a different psychological gravity to it. I can still remember particular missed tackles even from fukking practice just because it's so embarrassing to get beat like that. Whereas no one would ever remember a layup they missed in practice.
