Rise up!
Can I really blame Josh Norman for gettin stiff armed by Derrick Henry?

I can def blame B Knight for blowing a wide open layup to lose the game doe
Brandon Knight missing a layup doesn’t alter a game though breh unless it’s in the final seconds. Missing an open field tackle and giving up a first down when you could’ve got the offense off the field is way worse. It’s a game of inches and the defense gets tired the longer they stay on the field.
As for Derrick Henry stuff arming nikkas, them be the breaks :yeshrug: they teach you from pop Warner how to chop a big nikka down. I’d rather get jumped over then stuff armed. At least it takes a shyt ton of momentum and effort out of the runner to jump over someone. He don’t break stride with his stiff arms

Exactly a missed layup is just 2 points and you get to try over and over again. And teams can go on runs to make up for it later in the game and refs can call a foul to eventually bail you out

Missing tackles is just demoralizing. A missed tackle on 3rd down turning into a touchdown or first down is just painful to watch And more often than not plays like that basically break your teams back and ruin any hope of winning...

Missing tackles is waaay worse
Exactly breh smoked layups don’t demoralize a team. You miss that open field tackle and buddy can take that to the house or keep you out there longer when you’re already worn out

Edit: cmon now brehs :stopitslime:

I have no idea how often that happens. Maybe once a season. Across the entire league.

I can’t imagine it happens more than 5 times. I have no way of looking it up though. It is extremely rare.
It's called a routine fly for a reason, a lot of innings are ended by it.

Missing a layup

Tackling a man who is potentially bigger and/or stronger than you is no easy feat

All NBA players should be able to make a layup because it's one of the most basic things to do

But difficulty and importance are two different things so it all depends

Layups, it's hard as fukk to bring someone down in the open field. I couldn't even imagine trying to bring down a pro

So Cal
Missing layups shouldn't be consistent thing. You might miss a couple way ones, but everybody does that. It's nikkas whole miss tackles all season.

Not even close. Missing layups is an immediate what the hell. Missing a tackle happens almost every other minute.

So. Cal
Missing layups is by far the most embarassing thing to see but watching missed tackles is the most frustrating one.

Cant count how many times ive yelled at the TV to wrap up!
