College in China costs almost nothing compared to in America.
Lower the price of education and the quality of products and then you can lower the wage.
Americans are accustomed to a certain standard of living and you can't change that expectation.
We won't suffer Japan's fate because of Mexican immigration but basically this will become Mexico Part II shortly anyways.
And I won't be here for it. Australians have raised the minimum wage and the cost of the product or service as well. Consumption is lower but not significantly so because productivity improved which increased profits and profit sharing for employees.
Australia is the economic model the rest of the world should be following.

Mandated employment based on things like college degrees and acquired skill sets is nothing more then a roundabout form of class warfare.
Any intelligent man with the know how to learn the job should be given an opportunity to do the job. Degrees after all are just pieces of paper for most.
The job market has shrunk tremendously since the recession.Many industries like general labor and full time warehouse jobs are scarce and poorly paid. On the upside cheaper fast food is surging as is the rate of employment. But the rates of pay are laughable compared to how much the industry brings in yearly.
Meanwhile food cost go up...living fees go up..gas goes up...utilities go up...mandated insurance...car price...the cost of living has increased dramtically while the means to get it have decreased.
In reality the conversation should be about increased wages...not poor people "getting what they deserve".
