I don't mind, but the recent budget changes that gave more funding for space exploration did so at the expense of NASAs science initiatives.

If that's the case, then no.

Space exploration is about expanding human knowledge. Space is the perfect laboratory. NASA has a pretty good website on all the discoveries that have come from the space program.

yes, and it's really the only way the species becomes immortal. We literally have all our eggs in one basket.

We don't have to terraform planets and don't see it being worth the hassle, but I hope I live to see at least the beginning of a Dyson sphere.

We can deal with Earth and Space at the same time.

They ain't taking us. You've seen their sci-fi movies.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a cac filled spacecraft barreling toward Earth 2 right now.:mjpls:
well, if there is a cac filled spacecraft barreling towards earth 2.0, i hope they come back and take all the other cacs with them.... a cac-free earth 1.0 works for me too...

oh, and a big yes from me for space travel. we have a ton to gain from it and it's not just stuff out there. the tech developed from space programs have been hugely important for us on earth.

lol, I mean serious plans get on the board. I think once space becomes commercialized, things will move quickly.
