This is the BS statement white people like to say when they want to say something either racist or sexist.

“I just said my nikka, why are you so offended “

“ I just called you a bytch, it was only a joke, why are you so offended”
Just because that is a go to white people saying does not make obese thread any less more invalid. OP is definitely right now in days you can’t say anything without getting a huge social media backlash l. if you don’t refer to a trans person as the correct pronoun or believe that trans women are really women the Internet will expose you and write 1 million tjink pieces on why you’re transphobic and boycott your career it’s become ridiculous

And yet, there are things we are now desensitized to that wouldn't fly (here read; would be politically incorrect) back then because people were sensitive and politically correct back then too. :sas1:
So it's like @Tupac in a Business Suit said: same shyt, just different toilets. :sas2:
There are things that happened in 90's television that would not be allowed on television today.

Simple as that.

Yall love coming into threads thinking you schooling somebody :mjlol:

And there are things that happen in TV today that would get your ass fired AND beat the fukk up back then.

Y'all just ain't cool with the new status quo. Which is cool, I have my reservations too.

But then that's what should've been the title of the thread: "Why are we cool with the new status quo?" instead of "why are people so offended by every little thing"

First of all you changed my topic to fit your narrative. I was dealing in the realm of racism and sexism. You changed it to deal with transphobia and I have no idea why. Secondly, you say “ because that’s a go to white saying” doesn’t make Op any less valid. Of course it does. If you think a racist argument ( let’s keep it 100, that’s what this is about) has any form of validity then that’s a personal issue on your part.

* To be honest, this seems like a form of white privilege. Telling the other person ( mostly black, mostly women) what they should be or not be offended by.

White people call everybody sensitive for not accepting their racism. But let you call a white dude a "White boy" and watch them start snot-crying.

That's who started it. White people projecting their bullshot on others.

Whole thread is sus af. Every time some shyt like this pop up, it's usually some white boy crying about how sensitive everyone is these days because he can't say the word ****** without being labeled a racist. But what was that being called "something else" you alluded to in your prompt OP?

White people have a paradox that they get everybody to play into.
It goes: *Joke about Black person* "Don't be sensitive"
*Joke about white person* "If a white person said this about Blacks you'd be outraged"
It tries to create a middle ground that allows them to always say racist shyt as "a joke", yet simultaneously be the victims of a racist joke.

It almost like being the sole person talking on a phone in a library, then when someone intervenes asking you to quiet down you respond and say "Can you please stop talking? You wouldn't like it if was me asking you to quiet down." and then asking other people not to use their devices while continuing to talk out loud on yours.

This whole thread is full of that paradox, the coli is filled to the brim at this point with Black conservatives, who just don't say they're Black conservatives.
