Nothing wrong with Keto here and there. Not for me but I can see the attraction as far as getting into shape and lowering body fat percentage.

Any sort of self restraint is a good thing, but imo it’s iust as unhealthy being overly health conscious to the point that you’re stressed about it.

Unless you’re an athlete, what’s the point of being so regimented on diet at all times? Life’s meant to be lived, obviously moderation is important but you gotta wake up and smell the roses too.

I wouldn’t ever do it (Keto) long term but I can see the attraction for a month etc. Surely it isn’t healthy long term? This has been proven no? Not by internet doctors but backed up by medical journals and published papers etc.

Oh yeah, ecto-mesos are lucky as hell. Pretty much any dude that doesn't take HGH and makes women excited when he takes his shirt off fits that profile. NFL cornerback body...a lot of track brehs fit that profile.

Agree. I could never do it long term, but I bet it would definitely help someone get started. Sometimes just losing 5 or 10 lbs on the scale relatively quickly provides the psychological boost you need to get going.

Check back in a year from now, when your done with the keto diet and back to eating bread, potatoes and rice, like most people that do this sort of diet end up doing because they can't sustain it for life. Either your doing it forever to keep your weight down, or you're going back to carbs and it was only good for the short term.

The point you seem to be missing is that a Keto is not supposed to be a long term thing


It's not fad diet that you blow back up after, it's literally just cutting carbs to an extreme amount for a short period of time... you can still eat carbs:mjlol:

I been keto for 7 years tho and am in better shape each year..before it even had the name. All it really comes down to is fat and carbs are both sources of energy. Consume more energy than you use and you will store that energy in the form of fat. You have the choice of limiting your carb intake or fat intake. Limit your carb intake and your body will break down fat into ketones and use that for energy. That is where the name comes from.

It is possible and healthy to sustain long term. When you are getting majority from clean fats like advacados eggs salmon seeds, oils, almonds cashews, walnuts, etc.. not even too hard once you really get rolling and learn how to cook. n even when you slip and smash some carbs you can turn around n get back into ketosis with some working out.

I dont think ketos bad. If you suck at dieting and don't like to exercise it's probably the easiest diet to stick to with the fastest results. Everytime I try I have to stop cause I feel like shyt when I'm exercising, I can't go hard

Short term solution but your macros mix depends on where your at currently and what goals you have

Also nothing wrong with clean carbs like sweet potatoes, quinoa, brown rice

The real villain is processed sugar

For me:
6:30 Black coffee and tea
7:00 15 minutes treadmill
11:00 100 gr chicken breast/lean meat, 100 gr cauliflower, 50 gr tofu with seasonings
12:00 A glass of coconut water
15:00 Apple, low fat yogurt, black coffee, tea
18:30 15 minutes treadmill
19:00 100 gr chicken breast/lean meat, 100 gr Broccoli, 4 egg whites with seasonings
No further meal until 11:00 next day.
This is how it's done. No fugazi half ass shyt.
