I just started Keto on Sunday. The most interesting part is just how much junk I would eat (fries, chips, sodas, sweets). It really makes you stop and think what you're eating. I'm :flabbynsick: at 6'4 375 lbs so wish me luck brehs.

Perhaps I was splurging on the shyt because normally I dont eat red meat but I ate quite a bit of good cuts of it because more fat than chicken breast. Its no reason for me to pump fake. I havent had to lose weight in like ten years. I stay at a low body fat and bench like a hundo over my weight. I dont have to false flag for shyt. I just wanted to try this fad shyt and I did. Its pointless unless you need to lose a lot of weight with little self control. Purriod.

People were eating carbs and sugar back in the 70s and 80s. They weren't suffering from obesity and weren't as overweight.

What you and others are failing to realise that you should eat for your body type.
I've done 4 shows and used keto diets for 2 and the other 2 were high to moderate carbs.
Now the big thing is, what kind of carbs can your baby handle for dieting.
For example I'll use myself
I take 16-20 weeks to diet for show
If I start at high carbs which would be 400 grams
The Carbs that I can diet off of and still lose weight are
Whole wheat pasta
Oat meal
Whole wheat grain bread...
Green veggies
Those were the carbs I could eat the entire prep

I couldn't eat any kind of potatoes,
No fruit, no lactose
no starches like corn

Every 2 weeks I would slowly reduce my overall carb intake....I looked my best on that diet


However most people do not know how to diet with carbs because they have not taken the time to learn there body thus no carbs diets are the simplest to do

Keto gets a lot of flack for two reasons imo...


It takes strong willpower to give up those simple carbohydrates, the junk that most people’s diet is compromised of...

And two, people will never stop believing that carbs are necessary for energy...

Keto is great for cutting but it’s not for the faint of heart... and you gotta eat complex carbs like vegetables.

S/N... funny thing is that most of the foods that cause diabetes, obesity, and heart ailments are carbohydrates... pretty much every corporate food manufacturer’s merchandise is some form of simple carbohydrate... things that make you go hmm.
Agreed with most however most veggies used for keto are not complex carbs, most are empty carbs "ruffage" to keep your digestive system going.

how am I half assing it when I ate 20-40 carbs a day for two months and only went to 50-60sh on leg day. say what you want bout my opinion, but I aint half ass shyt. I gave keto a honest try because I plateaud at 11% bf and wanted to ge to 9-10

Nobody is telling yall to do our shyt, we tell you what has worked for US.

If you happy with whatever fad/diet you into then go for it. nikkas talking about fasting a day or some bullshyt like thats hard. Your Keto might take weeks to actually kick in and if you start seeing results. Then you have to go through an entire sluggish period, might feel a loss in strength over a period of time, then once you get over shyt your strength returns and you start dropping weight FAST. I lost my shyt fast af and even when I'm not in Ketosis it has stayed off for the most part.

And all I did was IF and Keto for like 2 months. If you wanna keep eating the bullshyt you eat and DON'T want to cut carbs (by far the easiest way to lose) then don't. But cutting carbs isn't new, nikkas just discovering this shyt and making it new


Also on a Keto, you don't completely cut ALL your carbs... IDK why yall keep acting like it. You work within a specific range. Outside of that, you can eat whatever the fukk you want

If your going full keto, you do have to cut off direct carbs. All your carbs should be indirect sources like carbs found in peanut butter, or meat or whey protein but no direct source carbs

The only direct source carbs you should be taking in are on a cheat day once a week, that's it

Only carbs i had came when i was drinking my protein shakes usually. Not sure what other direct source of carbs other than the food you eat?

And I did mines by keeping it below 50g’s and below 100gs on days for working out. You don’t cut carbs out completely

It only takes 60 grams of carbs to take you out of keto. So those 100 gram days are taking you out even with training.
If your eating is on the 50 grams should be met using indirect sources like you just said, whey protein, chicken, beef, peanut butter ec...
