He's a solid number 2 option in the right situation but he's not "elite" like you are claiming. We'll see how Tatum comes back from the injury, but prior to it, Tatum was clearly the better player.

Don't get it twisted - Scottie still projects to have a higher ceiling than Siakam.Cause Toronto fans are front running idiots
Now they gotta live with Scottie Barnes lol
I don't think they wanted him gone as much as they didn't want to lock themselves into a treadmill team built around Barnes/Siakam/OGWhy did Toronto fans want him gone @MikelArteta

Came in to say this exact thing. He plays within himself. Nothing seems forced. Nothing seems excessive. Just controlled and consistent. He knows where his bread is butteredHe's effective because he keeps his game simple. He strives to take a high-probability shot instead of taking a route to get a bucket that has the most resistance.
He plays like he knows you ain't get no extra points for style.

You think Suggs is better than Scottie, so suffice to say, you should probably leave this argument alone. Let's not sidetrack this thread. You were on point with your Siakam takes so why in the world would you go and compound it like that
There is no way Barnes will ever be as good as Siakam
As you should have been.I got cooked before the Playoffs began for saying he is a better player than Chris Bosh.
If you want to argue Tatum being a better player I’m not gonna hold you
but he’s clearly an elite player
There’s not many players that can what he can do…especially at his level
You going too far. It's good to see Siakam appreciated but he's not a Top 5 player in the league level (Tatum) and Paul George's injuries are making people forget. He was better.Damn just realized this is yet another L in the Paul George Pantheon and Kawhi by proxy
Kawhi really left this man because he thought PG was a better option
Raps would have repeated had he stayed on the team. Sad
Kawhi was out regardless, he wanted to be close to home & nothing was stopping him.Damn just realized this is yet another L in the Paul George Pantheon and Kawhi by proxy

I remember it being a hilarious running joke to compare him to Tatum but the Siakam now can truly go band for band with Tatum or any elite player.
