When most Black people always make some sort of excuses for the criminals and degenerates within our community. A lot of these gang members, robbers and killers do the shyt they do cuz they want too not because they have too. :yeshrug:

This is 2022, it’s so easy to be a productive member of society and earn shyt the legit way but most of our people would still rather terrorize our community to gain quicker access to materialistic shyt.

When somebody made a thread a while back asking "Would you rather have Black Supremacy or Equally?" and the majority of nikkas picked "Equality".
I always knew alot of us won't make it, but that shyt right there was soul crushing. @UncleTomFord15
I know I joke on here alot. But I truly did give up on that "We will rise again" mentality a long time ago. Everytime I sit and ask myself why we are in the position we're in globally, I just read some of the comments on here or on fb, or on Twitter or lsa; then it all makes sense to me again :francis: .

I said this in another thread but we need more James Evans style parenting in the hood.

When I humbled myself and stopped thinking I could be some sort of savior for the community. When I realized that such a savior doesn't even exist and that no successful movement ever had universal support from the public and it's childishly unrealistic to think you can get such a large number of people on the same page.

You see that a lot in here.

And I really hate the looting and rioting. It doesn’t solve anything. The cop usually doesn’t get locked up, and now they have to live in a burnt up, torn down neighborhood, just to get some stuff from the store. We still have the same problems, but you have a new pair of sneakers, and some toilet paper.

  • Inability to let go of the N-word
  • Well educated black people still directly patronizing genocidal music (e.g., going to concerts)
  • The brain dead "voting doesn't matter. what have we ever got voting?" crowd on here
  • The all out sprint to invite anyone to the barbecue
  • People cutting up in black establishments in ways they wouldn't elsewhere
  • Failure of the BLM protests to materialize into anything tangible
  • All of my black male friends & fam either having:
    • Non-black partners
    • Partners with kids from another relationship
    • Overweight partners
    • ...and the 1st group of dudes being the most well-off & educated

2013. Got out of the Army and went back to my old neighborhood and found so many brothers and sisters that had so much promise and drive strung out on corner after corner.

We did homework and played ball together and talked about dreams. Only to see them in this state, relying on their parents in their old age. I even had a vehicle emblem stolen from the front of my car and one of my homies tried to sell me DVDs in the streaming era. I just gave him a 20 and told him to keep em.

Some of my other friends are doing great and we hit each other up on LinkedIn but it's hard to shake seeing friends I came up with fall so hard.
