When Lebron retires will he be "apart of culture" like Jordan?

This aint a MJ vs Lebron thread in terms of who is better. I hate MJ so I definitely ain't trying to big him up. I'm just asking how do you think he will be viewed post basketball? Obviously MJ will always be apart of the culture because of those dumb shoes, Jumpman, etc Being a billionaire could make him transcend. Obviously, being the King could make him transcend.
Not sure how his social presence will change.

I thought about Bron's documentary when he is done playing and a lot of focus should be social things as well as on court accomplishments.

Half of the documentary should focus on the 2016 season and Finals. When the warriors spanked them in Cleveland in the regular season, and Bron sat in Blatt's seat:russ:, no one on earth thought that squad would have a chance vs the Warriors in June. Warriors won 73 games.

A little town called none ya got damn bidness
He is Jordan to the younger generation. He has literally been the man their whole lives. Someone said its been kids who were born, grew up and graduated college and dude is still playing at an all NBA level, He's all they know :wow: factor all that in with being more accessible via social media, tv, etc he's not going nowhere post career

I really think we need to separate these careers instead of putting them against each other.

What LeBron has done is nothing short of incredible. He deserves his accolades without being compared.

The man is still at it 20+yrs later.

We can all have our choices for GOAT, but we should all respect what these greats have accomplished.

Too much generational comparisons when the game has changed so much.

My wish is that LeBron stay involved in an executive/front office roll and give more of those opportunities to Black people.

I think in a lot of ways LeBron's post career started when he went to LA. I expect his transition from playing to front/office and business ventures to be fairly seamless.

Most non-black Americans could give 2 shots about LeBron. They can't wait for him to retire.

Jordan on the other hand was universally loved by everybody, even people from Detroit, NY and Cleveland, teams that had huge rivalries with the Chicago Bulls.

Even in black America it's 50:50 with LeBron

It's not close. Curry is arguably the most popular player of this era.

I get it. Again I'm a Jordan hater and I know his impact. I'm just how Lebron is going to be viewed post retirement in the culture.
