I think Nick wanted to go for it and ice the game, 35 yard line is kind of no man's land. Touchback only gains you 15 yards to the 20 and is the coffin corner attempt and punt in general worth the risk of a block. He definitely didn't want to take a shot like that though, camera caught him saying "why why why "

im 100% a fan for going for the kill, but not in that particular spot. that was completely egregious to me given how little time they had left and the fact that they couldnt even drive on us to begin with.

Yeah. In the moment I'm screaming just punt, but I also understood the agression and wanting go ice the game. The defense earned the right to finish the game off if they didn't make the 1st down considering how well they played all night.
