The two cliches I always hear are that you fall in love 3 times and the first one is never the real one,, and that every person gets their heart broken at some point.
I've never had my heart broken and I really feel like I'm in love with my current lady, which would be love #2. I see this shyt comin from a mile away brehsshe gon do me dirty brehs

the reality is .. it's extremely rare to find a person that you will stay with until you're old and gray and die of old age. Life has way too many changes so
that should not be your goal or expectation
you should go into the situation with the thought that this person will add something positive to your life and that you will grow with them for a time
that time could be a year.. or it could be 10 but if they are worthy of your time (in all the ways that matter) then you will catch some feelings and you'll create some great experiences
You're better off spending that time with someone you truly enjoy rather than a few random thots that you won't remember

personally I don't expect anything to last because growing up in the hood taught me that any day could be my last (or her last for that matter)
You have to appreciate every small moment ..minute by minute..
you can't hold on to anything in this life because we're not meant to be here for long.
so instead of wasting time worrying about what tomorrow might bring or what she might be doing (things that are outside of your control and will make you miserable)
Enjoy the now and live in the moment with the expectation that it will end at some point but today is not that day...
When that day comes then yes it's going to suck.. but it will be the beginning of a new day and you will have the opportunity to grow with someone else in a different way or fukj a couple random thots til that next situation presents itself
