I did that job for two weeks and only makes like $35. That was the ultimate hustle. Walked so much my shoes had holes in them and I didn’t make enough to even replace them. Good lord I wish I would’ve left after the interview. fukking cock suckers.

I was in transition of moving and leaving a job and took a job with Amazon warehouse just to get some food money so I don't burn through my savings. I had like 8k I'm savings sitting so I wasn't stressed as I had another job lined up coming up on a month or two.

I didn't last two weeks at Amazon. I've worked stock and warehouse jobs my whole youth. I loved it, no real responsibility, just check in , do your picking/sorting and go home.

This was going well until the 2nd week and this manager was going off and just ghetto and complete disregard for the other rank and file employees.

I was part time and was making 15/hr at Amazon. So these paychecks were extremely light. I just wanted some extra cash. Came back in a few more days and this ghetto bytch was still talking reckless. I felt the urge to call her out on the bullshyt but just said fukk it. Clocked out and just resigned from the Amazon app.

Enjoyed the rest of my summer and started working for my new company a few months later.

Showed up for orientation for the Amazon third party van driver jobs. The kicker was when the trainers said there was an arbitrary agreement that I had to sign before I could start and there’s no medical coverage. Not to mention the #1 injury on the job was dog bites. I was looking like :what:. Went home to think about it and then said wtf do I look like trying to deliver 125 packages within an 8 hr shift for $15 an hour and no medical package? Then I can’t sue if I get bit by a dog on top of that? Sent them motherfukkers a text message cussing them out and blocked their asses. They really killed when they said we’ll have your backs if a customer lies about not receiving their package. :martin: That’s the least of my worries. The nerve of these companies.

Thats crazy. One medical visit would put you back few thousand for a dog bite and stitches, and shots.

There was no medical coverage at all to be provided?!? You was a independent contractor?

Quitting has never been in my DNA

But the closes I ever came to quitting a job was last year during the pandemic.

Got laid off at my main job because of budget cuts, thank goodness I never been a materialistic person
I had enough money stacked up to chill and quarantine at the crib for a few weeks. Finally got bored of all of that and filled out an app at a temp agency for a warehousing job (12 hr shifts).

**During that time period that was a mistake I made, the main employees at that wearhouse took a 2-3 weeks
leave of absence to quarantine, there were a few of the main employees that stayed over (Mainly just to stacked extra money) but they didn't really know how to teach us how to operate the machines. I bullshyt you not there were periods at a time at that wearhouse we were just standing up doing nothing for like 2-3 hours, I damn near fell asleep a couple of days it was so boring there. randomly out of the blue one day my manager at my main job sent out a huge text message basically saying ''Things are starting to open back up, would yall like to come back to work?'' I dipped outta work early had a meeting with my manger never came back to that wearhosing job.

**I did that wearhousing job for close to a solid month, my check was direct deposit.

Happened when I applied to the ICU. Instructor was annoying so I just went back to my old unit like nothing happened. She a textbook definition of a smart-dumb nurse.

I worked a sales job for about a week once and walked out during a team meeting. Everyone had warned me about the arrogance and general a-hole 'ishness of the owner and his sales manager, but I didn’t think they were being serious.

I was wrong.

The very first meeting I attended he started off by yelling at us for being poor and driving shytty cars. He said that was the reason we couldn’t sell. Then he told us all he wanted us to submit our fingerprints and facial recognition for a new time clock system he was going to be installing to “keep us in line.”

I laughed in his face and walked out.
What were they selling?

I worked at chilli's for 4.5 hours.

I was in culinary school and needed a job so I got hired at chilli's. It started getting busy and the manager told me to put the chicken breast on the grill just to get grill marks on it and cook it in the microwave. They had microwaves on every station. They partially cooked it then finished it in the microwave. If you ever hear them talk about "Chef Mic" they put your shyt in the microwave. Ain't no chef Mic back there.

Depends on how busy they are. In the 4 hours I was there I saw them microwave chicken, burgers, steaks, cheese sticks and who knows what else. I went to take out the trash and hopped in the whip and went home. Got a $32 check mailed to me a month later
