Where did this idea that MLK was a c00n come from?

Black nationalists were calling dr king an Uncle tom way back in the 60’s

This is not a new opinion at all, and as I’ve said before - Malcolms teachings and quotes have aged far better than dr kings
That's an opinion. And Malcolms teachings weren't his. They were Elijah Muhammad's. Malcolms TRUE beliefs are what got him kicked out of the nation and killed.

People calling dr king a c00n today is an opinion too

Malcolm’s quotes from his speeches and interviews were his own, and he was booted from and killed by the NOI for criticizing Elijah Muhammad publicly

I have heard criticisms of his methods and beliefs, but never heard Dr. King called a c00n. At the end of the day, whether you agree with his methods or beliefs or not, calling a man who always put his people first and even gave his life in the process is not only disrespectful, it's downright disgraceful.

Because he took way too much shyt from white folks under the guise of white Christianity.

I had this argument with my grandmother a while ago and she straightened me out. She told me Malcolm was coolin in Uptown with the Nation with him at every step and Martin was in Bama getting the brakes beat off him.

Changed my perspective. Even tho I don’t agree with how King went about things in no way was he ever a c00n

Quiet as it's keep though, i never saw Malcolm in the streets putting action to his teachings. He made speeches. But it's not about Malc vs Martin, we needed both of them.
