Her bird babble doesn't even make sense, we still own and owned things after integration.
it does make sense bc integration into the white society has had harmful effects on the collective black consciousness. I doubt that's how deep the twitter girl was thinking about it, but it's true. I would never call MLK a 'c00n' but it's false to say that full integration was all good for black people.

Malcolm’s quotes from his speeches and interviews were his own,
The hundreds and hundreds of speeches Malcolm gave on Sunday afternoons, Monday nights, Wednesday nights, and Friday nights at the temple on 116th Street, and various temples across the country, were Elijah Muhammad's teachings.
he was killed by the NOI for criticizing Elijah Muhammad publicly
Thomas Hagan, admitted to and convicted of Malcolm's murder, at his parole hearing:

"I can't say that anyone in the Nation of Islam gave us the idea or instructed us to do it. We did this ourselves for the most part, yes," Hagan told the parole board.

Because none of us were alive to see the bad things were before integration, all we know is the good.

I'm not sure why anyone would romanticize a time when you couldn't even be considered for a job based on your skin color.

Black nationalists were calling dr king an Uncle tom way back in the 60’s

This is not a new opinion at all, and as I’ve said before - Malcolms teachings and quotes have aged far better than dr kings

They were wrong then.... and truth be told, black nationalists weren’t willing to engage the white power structure to change public policy.. and the teachings you’re referring too are of the Koran and Elijah Muhammad

Ironically his comments about JFK and chickens coming home to roost got him suspended by the NOI and Elijah Muhammad himself.

Kinda hard to do when he was a parrot as you claim he was :comeon:

Most of what Malcolm spoke were his own thoughts and opinions, especially in interviews and during his speeches

In fact many of his most memorable quotes were from AFTER he was kicked out of the NOI

Right here he sounds like malcolm X to me, this was after he left the nation :gucci:

People put they 21 century thoughts on Jim Crow south. Let’s be honesty, what Malcolm and the nation was facing up north was nothing close to what Martin and the civil right movement was facing down south.
I stress to a lot of people. The south needed a different kinda finesse to win, they wanted black people to attack so they could have a reason to massively kill black people cause the the kkk was ingrained in every part of the government, from the police to the court houses.

Up north they didn’t have those same attacks so they could fight force with force cause they weren’t under the same kinda pressure.

white protesters would come down south to protest him crow and segregation and they would die and never be found again, it needed a different kinda finesse

and for damn sure the nation would not have been able to come down here with the way they moved during that time period without being thrown in jail and being killed after.

both great men that was in different places, that needed different approaches

Black nationalism has always taught that we don't need outside help and we can be self sufficient, so running to the "power structure" goes against that completely.

and look at the video I just posted above of Malcolm after he left the NOI - he still spoke truth to power and about white racism TO a white mans face sitting 3 feet away from him.

Quiet as it's keep though, i never saw Malcolm in the streets putting action to his teachings. He made speeches. But it's not about Malc vs Martin, we needed both of them.

The Nation of Islam, under the direct leadership of Elijah Muhammad, had over 150 temples in North America, Bermuda, Jamaica, Honduras, and England
They had 46 Muhammad Universities of Islam
They were importing over 1000 metric tons of fish from off the shores of Peru monthly
They had a fleet of trucks to distribute their products nationally
They had farms in Georgia Alabama and Michigan
They were selling over 30,000,000 Muhammad Speaks newspapers annually

This notion that Minister Malcolm X, when he was in his right mind and still working with Muhammad, didn't do anything, is ridiculuos.
