The thing about these Broncos is that the Seahawks secondary was better to me even though their pass rush was a little worse. With these Broncos, it all comes down to Miller, Ware and co. If they are not dominating like against PIttsburgh, they can be thrown on.

This was an all time great defense(modern day) as far as the eye test, statistically etc. There's no reason why they shouldn't be categorized in the 00 Ravens or 02 Bucs tier or the Seahawks of '13.
The Pats had 171 yards in the fourth. While hindsight is 20/20, if Beli kicked a field goal once instead of going for it twice on fourth down, they more than likely would have won that game.

Seattle shut down the best offense in NFL history at the time. Car offense wasn't on that level

Top 5 in my books. The relentless pressure they got on Brady in the AFC Championship was as impressive as anything they did last night.
These guys beat Big Ben, Brady, and Cam to win the Super Bowl and carried a very average offense along the way.
2013 Russ Wilson was also better than 2015 Peyton.

We just shut down the offense who pretty much been dropping 40 on everybody, our offense was more suited or passing while they offense was more suited around running. So they won't break records like us. But they were impressive tho
I'll give them top ten cause their have been a lot of great defenses over the years and even some of those Steelers defenses that aren't on the hypothetical list could/should be on there. The Seahawks in 2013 were nice for sure and they had the better secondary though Denver isn't a slouch in that regard either. But Seattle didn't have Von and Ware back there confusing and scaring the shyt out of QB's like Denver does.
Top performance no doubt, but that Steelers game without AB didn't kinda hurt that all time talk.
