im comparin them purely as 2 28 year old men. if jordan had the ability to be competin at that level when he was 19, why wasnt he?
Just 5 quarters ago, he looked abysmal. He was tentative, bricking shots, and looked like the Lebron 2 years ago and all those years in Cleveland. He looked like a mental midget. He somehow found his confidence, but if you're vying for the GOAT title, you can't be putting on mental midget performances 4 straight games in the finals during the prime of your career. Especially if that's all you did the first 7 years in the league.
Props to him for making plays tonight, but people are way too reactionary now-a-days.

You can't be thorough in discussing his path to this title and then just gloss over what actually happened in Cleveland. That nikka played his ass of in the clutch in and in big moments in Cleveland. Only reason there were ever any questions there was because he didn't win. We never saw anything on the level of 2011 Finals in Cleveland.
As far as his rank he is still in the same spot he's been in for me...somewhere in the top 10, maybe top 5. I don't care how many rings he wins he won't be moving up until he refines that post game and cuts out the
routine. I need to see last postseason, this regular season, and game 7 type performances for some years going forward before he's even considered for GOAT.

He wasn't doin shyt until he got Wade and bosh though. Also he might have actually learned some fundamentals if he went to college

So you did forget about the criticism about him being anti-clutch. Roughly two years ago that was his biggest criticism before he won last year. Had Ray Allen not hit that shot a few days ago those same criticism would have surface again and everyone would have looked at last year's clutchness as an aberration.
