Where should Lebron have gone in the summer of 2010 to avoid "Superteam" accusations?

He should have stayed in Cleveland with superstar talent mo williams
People really think that high caliber players were going to choose to go to Cleveland. Another false equivalent is in regard to the fact that LeBron went to a Miami team that was barely a playoff team. If the Heat were in the Finals a year before Lebron went there, then yeah it would be the same as Durant.

Wade/Bron would've been a package deal for Chicago so it still would have been a super team.

and OP what are you talking about :what:

No one is saying LeBron should have wen't elsewhere. It's just hypocritical of Bron stans to bemoan KD for linking up with a crew that would give him the best chance to compete for chips, the same thing LeBron did.
I don't believe this is the truth.
Unless Lebron somehow took less money to join the Lakers or Spurs or Mavericks.

There were better "superteam" options than Miami.

Bosh was a top 15 player, Wade was a consensus top 3-4 player in the game at that point. Name all the other locations that were better superteam options.

You literally just quoted three of them.

Spurs fans root for Lebron because Kobe dominated them in playoffs.

In fact, if you pay attention to Lebron fans, you'll notice they come from fanbases that Kobe dominated or beat in playoffs such as 76ers, Timberwolves, etc
:mjlol:

Yeah that's the ticket.
Like 2013...we were all totally cool with that.

Its as much the place they go to form the superteam as much as the concept

Like people in here saying he wouldn't get accused of being in Chicago with Rose and Wade (and possibly even Bosh since it seemed like he was gonna follow Bron) is hilarious given thats argubaly a bigger superteam than whats in Miami but then again maybe so cause its Chicago a "traditional NBA franchise and sports town" other than Miami (Which is all bullshyt). Some people feel the same need to say the same about KD going to the "light years " Warriors that wouldn't with if say he went to the Spurs which would still been a superteam (Kawaii and LA)

Its all a bunch of bullshyt really

you said you named 3 other teams that were better options. I asked you specifically about one, answer the damn question
I said no such thing about naming 3.
I said name the better legit options he could have joined to avoid superteam allegations.

A few people noted the Bulls.
I thought that was fair.

However Lebron joining San Antonio or LA would have been a more apt allegation. I threw in Dallas, arguably the weakest of the 3. And you chose to latch onto that because somehow you think that makes the larger overall point moot.

It doesn't.
