Where should Lebron have gone in the summer of 2010 to avoid "Superteam" accusations?

Lebron did it to himself with the whole "Decision" b.s. and claiming to win 8 championships. He set up his own demise :francis: Not to mention Wade and Bosh are both HOF players and Olympians, and they purposely took less money to try to run the league, that sh*t reeks of collusion and b*tchazzness, and is a slap in the face to all the NBA players who worked hard to earn rings. Not to mention the whole reason Lebron did this was to avoid ending up like Malone or Barkley. Even when he could have had Wiggins he chose to go with the bigger name. His whole M.O. is easy wins, not improving his squad.

Wiggins is 10 years younger than LBJ. He'll reach his protential when lebron is like 35 years old if not older

I understand the criticism...but my question was where should Lebron have gone?
What most people wanted was stay in Cleveland or join the Knicks. That way he has no realistic chance to win a championship at any point. He was either gonna get shyt for being stupid and playing in Cleveland or New York, or he was gonna get shyt for playing on a team that had another great player :manny:

He didn't have to go anywhere. The Cavs we're back to back 60 win teams and were literally a piece or two away from competing for ships. Shyt with Boston and Detroit getting old, those Cavs could've ruled the East for years.

He was just too scared of the responsibility to lead at that time.

Basically, Cleveland can't bring in players for shyt at that time and with lebron on that team, they aren't gonna get any good draft picks

If I recall correctly, the only superteam scenario was Miami or Chicago.

How would have the Knicks or Clippers been a super team? Was he in the running to join Dallas? Don't know if just LBJ and Dirk would have been a superteam - more a dynamic duo.

Superteam = At least 2 superstars + 1 or more all-star caliber players.

^ That's the true definition of one IMO.

That front office was ass cheeks anyway. The team was capped out, had no draft picks, no ascending players besides LeBron and sideshow bob, and they were relying on 38 year old Shaq at center, not to mention a back court of mo Williams and Anthony Parker. A year or two later and the front court collapses due to age and injuries, and now he's gotta try to lead a team with no young legs and very little shooting (aside from him and mo the 2009-10 team was taking 5 threes per game) past Boston, Chicago, and Miami just to reach the finals. Good luck with Dallas or San Antonio or Oklahoma City with that roster and Byron Scott as the coach.

Dallas would've been a great fit actually. They had high end defenders, quality guards to defend, move the ball, and shoot, Dirk, a big man who cleans up the glass and works the pick and roll, and top tier bench and coaching staff.

So did the Cavs. The Twolves beat the eventual champions Spurs with Love on their roster in 2014 so what's your point?

Wiggins could have had a much quicker impact than anticipated by LeGM. You can't teach athleticism, and Wiggins had it. You always draft what you can't teach.

The funniest thing about that is they still won that year without him :russ:

Its easy saying that when u see him play good on a trash ass team. U saw what happened to Bosh and Kevin Love when they went from being 1st options to 3rd options playing against teams that gave it there all.

And Wiggins cant shot that well to top it all off. He doesn't fit in their offense.
