Where should Lebron have gone in the summer of 2010 to avoid "Superteam" accusations?

I said no such thing about naming 3.
I said name the better legit options he could have joined to avoid superteam allegations.

A few people noted the Bulls.
I thought that was fair.

However Lebron joining San Antonio or LA would have been a more apt allegation. I threw in Dallas, arguably the weakest of the 3. And you chose to latch onto that because somehow you think that makes the larger overall point moot.

It doesn't.
We're talking about two different things. I asked you what were better superteam options, not which teams he could have went to in order to avoid superteam allegations.

So just to be clear, you believe Miami with Bosh and Wade was the best superteam Lebron could have formed in the summer of 2010?

New York. It's where Nike believed he was going. They, like everyone else, was caught off guard by the Decision. He could have turned around New York like he did Cleveland in a couple of season's time.

I don't consider Bosh a 'Big 3' type player. Wade and Bron were superstars. Bosh wasn't. Melo was supposed to be in Miami instead of Bosh, but he reupped with Denver thus taking him out of the 2010 free agency class. Melo being worried about his dollars is the reason he'll never win.

I dont remember if Chicago only had space for 2 max guys or 3, but LeBron and Wade (or possibly all 3) in Chicago is the only realistic location I say he could have been a part of a better superteam.

All he had to do was not conspire with the 3 biggest free agents of that summer.

The Juelz'ing these last few days have been hilarious. :dead:
So that's the issue?
The conspiring?

Good to know that if Bosh and Lebron just independently decided to sign in Miami and didn't conspire, you'd be totally cool with the whole thing.

You're a GOAT poster, Ren.

bron to the bulls would have been the choice I thought
That was a young team on the cusp and would have possibly helped the workload of a young derrick rose

At the time, the bulls were still 1st round exit team and people thought the bulls would just be where the jazz were the prior season with the boozer acquisition. Lebron himself probably didnt see rose stepped up like he did and wanted to play with proven talent in Wade and Bosh. Not to mention Lebron doesn't like Boozer.

There's a lot of "Lebron created the blueprint; Durant just perfected it" stuff going around the coli.

And I just am curious where they feel Lebron should have gone as a FA in the summer of 2010.

It seems to me, that short of staying in Cleveland or joining the Knicks, just about every team he could have joined would have led to claims and cried of "superteam"

And let me be clear here: a similar sentiment would have followed Durant if he joined the Spurs or Toronto or any other team. It's just heightened because of the historical accomplishment Golden State achieved last season.

Lebron did it to himself with the whole "Decision" b.s. and claiming to win 8 championships. He set up his own demise :francis: Not to mention Wade and Bosh are both HOF players and Olympians, and they purposely took less money to try to run the league, that sh*t reeks of collusion and b*tchazzness, and is a slap in the face to all the NBA players who worked hard to earn rings. Not to mention the whole reason Lebron did this was to avoid ending up like Malone or Barkley. Even when he could have had Wiggins he chose to go with the bigger name. His whole M.O. is easy wins, not improving his squad.

I understand the criticism...but my question was where should Lebron have gone?
