Gotta be Shai like everyone already said. Their championship window is wide open with that loaded team. Will have home court advantage through the playoffs, everything lining up for them, they just gotta go get it.

Eagle, Colorado
1. SGA
2. Mitchell/Cavs
3. Tatum/Celtics
4. Luka
5. Edwards

Don't get how half the people on this list are there. Think pressure is the result of expectations or not having done it before. People are not expecting Nuggets, Bucks, Clippers, etc. to make a run to the title. The folks I mentioned have been consistently mentions as title favorites.

Number 2 and 3 guys on teams that ain never won shyt are somehow "under pressure" :mjlol:

What the fukk is Jalen Williams doing on this list :mjlol:

May sound funny, but Jalen Williams on this list is correct. If J dub falls short to perform get again in the playoffs, then OKC will make a decision that he'll probably the first guy to get traded off of OKC before they get too expensive with his eventual contract extension, and be seen as someone you can not have as your #2 on a championship team

Shai is the answer but not just for NBA reasons...

He's also the face of Team Canada, which been hyped as one of the strongest national teams worldwide, like a potential huge rival to USA. They lost to serbians at world cup and lost to french in Olympics.

There is a very normal excuse which is that Canada lacks experience to get to the finals yet, but you know how trash talking goes... A lot of american audience could use Canada's lack of success in international tournaments as one of arguments to put more pressure on Shai in NBA as well. Like OK he gets his stats but what about pushing his teammates to deliver in tough situations as well.

Plus back to NBA, them boys lost to Milwaukee in season tournament when milwaukee didn't look exactly like one of the biggest teams of the season. It puts pressure cause Shai is not like Curry or Bron who got so many NBA titles already. He needs to start winning championships, any sort of. Once you win MVP you got to win a championship or you get jokes made about you like Westbrook or Harden.

From that list, I think its Donavan Mitchell, he has a history of not performing as well in the playoffs like he does in the regular season, he's on the best team in east (record wise), they fired a coach, it's time to make some noise.

I think SGA will get a pass because I expect him to be great while people realize his 2nd and 3rd option are just not ready yet.

Tatum won't have any pressure from outside but will have it for himself because JB took all the awards last year, I am sure he wants to get those this year and I expect him to.

Whomever you think is the "best big man ever" wouldn't win a title with this Nuggets squad. Go figure.

Jokic has won a 'ship, how could he possibly be included with Shai and Luka?
He's the best player in the league and people are putting him in all-time great conversations so every Playoff run is going to be important. He's 30 in the prime of his career and a 3x MVP, the only other 3xMVP to only have one ring is Moses Malone, so yes he is under pressure. You the best player you get certain expectations that's how it is, Jokic is not the exception.

So yes Shai, Luka, Jokic

If you want to be that literal about it, then every star is under pressure.

But for the purposes of this thread, which the large majority in here can seemingly adhere to, Jokic doesn't have the same amount of pressure as stars who're on higher seeds and haven't won a championship. I thought that would be fairly obvious to anyone not trying to push some dumbass agenda.

In an unprecedented move, Denver just fired their head coach and GM (with only a couple games remaining in the season); a #2 option who's been injured and been a shell of his former self when he's managed to get on the floor; relying on a 36-year-old guard as an integral piece whose volatile game can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; all with one of the most imbalanced rosters in the playoff picture.

But hey, let's just ignore that so we can denigrate him because of some keyboard militant bullshyt.
