honestly they they lookin like a pseudo 08 lebron cavs team on paper just not the same because lebron is lebron obviously :whoa:

harden = bron
lin = mo
asik = Z
parsons = varejao

role players :youngsabo: yea first year he probably wont get so much slack im talkin out my ass now

maybe not tho :ohhh: @who_better_than_me is the pressure on or off ? i dont even watch houston games

That Cavs comparion isnt good. Those Cavs team are clearly better than this houston team. Parsons and Varejao are nowhere near similar players. Plus they had vets. The average experience of this squad is 1.9 years. Harden at 4 years is considered the vet...

But nah its no expectation. Like street knowledge said, we werent expected to make the playoffs.The over/under for us were 28 victories i believe... Most rocket fans dont see us getting out the first. Let alone the media

to win it.. it's lebron EASY. they've been appointed champs since before the season. the streak cemented it. they have to win it.

to get to the finals.. durant. i don't think anyone expects him to beat the heat especially after last year's finals.. but if they don't even get there, i can see questions creeping in no matter how unfair. i don't think there's any pressure on westbrook at all. the thunder are still seen as durant's team by most folk. and wb is probably my favorite player to watch :manny:

to get to the conference finals.. melo. even getting out of the first round this year isn't gonna be good enough. if he loses before the ecf, people are gonna shyt all over him.

i guess cp3 would be behind melo in reaching the cf.

PG x MD
Yea Bron. Melo is who he is at this point and I dont think anybody's gonna give him any more flack at this point. KD and Russy still have that youthfullness (still under 25). They got a couple more years til they start feeling the heat.

If Bron don't win a ring this season, than it will be back to hating on him. But, it should be CP3, but he will get a pass like always. :beli:

Lebron James

people want to see a repeat, if not we'll just hear "bu bu bu magic, michael, shaq, akeem repeated, why not bron"

Carmelo still does not have the pieces (needs a consistent 2nd scroer)

Paul's team can't play in the half court

KD and Russy are still "young"

Kobe is out

Well it's different scenarios if Melo (especially Melo ) , cp3, sabo and kd, or Bron lose in the first round they'll be killed. After that kd and Bron can't lose before the finals If Melo gets to the ECF and puts on a good series hell probably replace rose as the golden boy after Bron in the east. :whoo: cp3 barely gets criticized so he can probably quit midseries and ask for a trade and he'd get a pass .

Just like Dwill does...

:rudy: What pass for D-Will? Everyone shytted on him this season. :pachaha: Dudes were saying he wasn't even a top 10 PG this season before the All Star break. Chris Paul hasn't even been to a WCF once, and only made it out of the 1st round twice, but people say he is the best PG like its a given and like he is an all-time great already. :beli: This postseason, he shouldn't have an excuse, that simple. Its the deepest team he has played with and overall 2nd best team he has ever played with since that 08 Hornets squad.

Cp3 is usually thought as a top 5 player universally unlike :dwillhuh: yet he gets no blame its fascinating I think it's because he's somewhat nondescript . Melo and dwill have the most to gain

Naw Melo will definitely get killed , but be prepared for the Melo riding that would happen if the Knicks got to the ECF and put even a minor scare into the heat . All the hate Melo gets would spontaneously turn into overreaction the opposite way .

Melo has got to at least get to the second round or the vultures will start circling. I think CP has pressure on him to but i kind of think Melo has a more on him.

The only correct answer is Lebron. Not Durant, not Melo, not CP3, not Harden, not anybody else.

I honestly can't believe what I'm reading in here.

Exactly. Every other team is already expected to fall short. The only way those other guys get shyt on is if they play like shyt and lose to garbage in an early round matchup.

I think Melo has the most pressure, but at the same time he seems to have embraced that role this year. :salute:

And oh yeah, CP360 has a life-time pass, if they go far it will back to how much of a "leader" and "winner" he is (what he has ever won, I don't know), if they don't it will be probably be on Del Negro or Griffin... or anyone else :heh:

CP3 is always an MVP contender according to the media but he gets a pass every first and 2nd round exit. As long as he keeps pretending to be the picture perfect father and continues to bring that bobble head kid of his during press conferences, there will never be pressure on him.
