we've been losing weight the last hundred or so years and there are still whites that support us....
i don't think your analogy actually applies to reality
White people can be friendly on a micro level, but on a macro real level, white people will never help you achieve parity or dominance, that's obvious. White people are naturally going to want to maintain white privilege and dominance.
are the whites who are friendly on the micro level useful for spreading a message to moderates on their side?
can we use these allies to progress our agendas?

They do not exist as black people will never have equal rights to whites in America. Unless a white person is actively going to help blacks emancipate themselves from this country, then they are not allies. That's like me living in a 100 million dollar mansion somewhere and being set for life while saying how sad it is that there are poor people in my city. Of course i can say that, I'm already set and privileged.

The only type of alliance I want from them is to not get in our way. No more road blocks, no more obstructions, no more sabotage, just let us do us...they don’t even have to like us...just leave us alone.

the problem is that the whites who fear the end of white supremacy are not going to stop...
so how do we use the white allies we have as leverage to improve our position?
