He did everything well except crafting hits. The tread is about RAPPING ABILITY. Canibus is one of the definitions of RAPPING ABILITY.
Canibus isn't the definition of rapping ability. He was basically a punchline/battle rapper that people propped up as some elite level MC. He isn't someone that I would consider elite because he lacked the ability to switch it up. Not saying he doesn't have songs where he doesn't, but those aren't going to be the songs that stand out. Like, if someone was to ask why Pun is great, it wouldn't be a bunch of "Dream Shatterer" type records to showcase that. Even on Pun's light hearted records, the skill was still there.
Even still, Canibus had a monotonous flow. The delivery was nice, but again he's someone that got over because he had crazy one liners and couldn't deliver beyond that.
