:demonic:You know who I am..... and he is.
He squeezed every last win out this awkwardly constructed roster he has a close to .600 career winning %, 2x CoY, All-Star game coach, credited as a trendsetting defensive coach in the late 2000’s/early 2010’s, strong player development. He ain’t no damn college coach. Miami was the better team and that’s that. He’s never had a championship level roster in his career.

No coach is perfect. They all get killed. They’re all stubborn. Bucks won a ring with Bud he’s out of a job now. shyt is such a crapshoot.

He is also a cult of personality coach where the players have to adapt to him and not vice versa, runs very strict lineups that rely on players playing heavy minutes, and most his assistants are their for development reasons.

Thibs is famous for standing on the sideline yelling at guys all game like a college coach, and yes the only saving grace to me with them not firing him is he is a strong development coach and the kids can still use it.

Blah blah blah same shyt can be said for other coaches or any other mix of other critiques. Thibs gets every win out his rosters and takes teams as far as they can go.

He ain’t no damn college coach stop it

Just like RJ we are going to have to just disagree.

For who though? The 4 seasons Thibs has been here they've made playoffs twice with entirely different teams. If the motive by the FO is grooming JBryant to take over than Thibs will most likely finish out his deal.
Thibs is not a good coach.

There's literally not one game this season you can point to as proof that he's an elite coach.

I believe all the success is the byproduct of a great and disciplined front office. Our success is not because of Thibs.

Walt Bellamy for Dave DeBusschere was the biggest trade in franchise history leading to the 2 titles.

A really good article from the post for once. I don't know who they could get in a trade like that but let's see what happens. Right now you’re not getting equal value for Randle but things change.

Talking about soap boxes, where are you whenever RJ has a good game? :childplease:
Career 270 games, 33.6 minutes, 18/5/3, 42/34/71 splits, less than a steal and less than half a block a game, -2.4 box plus minus, -1.0 value over replacement, 8 win shares in 4 seasons, 12.8 career PER :trash:

Handles trash, jumper streaky and shaky, dexterity limited, defense average to below average, no midrange game, footwork mediocre, finishing mid, feel and IQ suspect

RJ has been mediocre through 4 seasons. Thibs has built a fantastic resume as a coach from his days as an assistant to present day.

Facts not opinions

He’s not the BEST coach. And might not be the coach that leads this team to the promise land. But he’s not a bad coach.
