Those people in 1925 thought the world's end and Paradise earth was imminent because of what the Watchtower taught them.

Because old JWs hold on to their old literature. I know people with bound volumes of Watchtowers and Awakes that are that old. Your local Kingdom Hall could have a library with publications as old as Studies in the Scriptures and Golden Age.

That second question is stupid. Jwfacts.com isn't trying to discredit jw.org, it's trying to discredit many of the teachings of JWs. Jw.org's agenda is to promote ALL the teachings of JWs.

And yes a lot of elder's kids do go to college. It's usually the rank and file true believers that get shafted by this implied rule.

Plenty of quotes from there discouraging higher education from the 2000s that you can look up on wol.jw.org

I find it funny that the most comprehensive online library of Watchtowers and Awakes endorsed by JWs only goes back to 2000. This religion keeps reinventing itself.

As far as what you see when you log in, "the game is to be sold, not told". All I'm saying is it requires security clearance to log into jw.org, and if I got it, and you don't, then really who are you to try to defend them or claim that I'm wrong? I know more about the organization than probably anyone on the Coli and I'm just giving ya'll friendly warnings. It'd behoove you to heed them
