Assuming there is a creator/God...who created the creator/God?
I know this may seem like a basic, or even nonsensical question...but fukk all that when you sit down and really think about it...it's deep as fukk.
Some will say that God has always existed...well how can something even exist without first having been created?
This shyt is keeping me up at night.
Thoughts?
And this is not an anti-religion thread...I'm legitimately trying to reconcile this shyt .
For this universe to exist there has to be something that is given the characteristic of eternal (everlasting and indestructible) or nothing makes sense.
For Atheists, they have their holy trinity of matter, dark matter, and dark energy. As we have been taught from 2nd grade science classes, "matter cannot be
created nor
destroyed."
So Atheists gave the godly characteristic of eternal (everlasting and indestructible) to matter and they believe that this universe's
matter has always existed and just one day began to expand and in another day it will collapse onto itself and the cycle continues. That's a theory known as the Big Crunch and Big Bounce. Another theory is that the universe will expand
eternally. This is known as Heat Death or the Big Freeze.
Religious people ascribe that characteristic to God. For us, God created the concept of time so therefore God is not bound to it.
God exists outside the boundary of time. God has no beginning or end. That is a quality of the creation, not the creator.
If you can believe that matter cannot be created nor destroyed it shouldn't be hard that to believe that God (with His immeasurable power) has no beginning nor end (God can't be created).
