Except the bible is a book and God is a character in it, so... it's actually the exact opposite of that.they were worshipping the sun (son) and didnt even know it
God is real.
This is similar to us all being characters in a book, and questioning the existence of the author or the authors creator.
Also, why do people keep saying time is a man made event? This is like saying measurement/distance is man made.
we may refer to it in our own terms. (lightyear, second, miles). But even without these names, they still exist. We cant fathom that our belief matters for nothing. If you believe/dont believe in God, that does not impact God's ability to exist
Time/distance were made before we were. Example: at every point in time, nothing is in a fixed position. Everything is always moving, your self, Earth, the sun, the solar system, galaxy, etc. we know there is space between these objects, and we know it takes time to get across that distance.
last comment: Let there be light corresponds directly to the scientific theory of a big bang event (theorized by looking back in actual time/space). long before we had telescopes. Somebody told Noah (descendant of Adam) what occurred. Possibly passed down through the 10 generation or told by God.

" shyt I've read in a minute.God spoke greek? The alpha and the omega![]()
Except the bible is a book and God is a character in it, so... it's actually the exact opposite of that.
What you're saying is if there were characters in a book talking about them creating the author
Obviously not, the author wrote the characters and gave them abilities. Humans created stories about gods and gave them abilities. It's exactly like Stan Lee or whoever inventing Superman. Gods/Myths are just ancient versions of comic books.
This whole line of thought was open and closed by Unamuno 100+ years ago.
"And supposing that everything is but the dream of God and that God one day will awaken? Will He remember His dream?"
Etc.
Then you claim it's crazy people say time is a man-made concept, yet you're the one advocating an atemporal infinite being not bounded by the limits of time/space.
Last comment: Literal equivocation.
"Possibly passed down through the 10 generation or told by God." Most "" shyt I've read in a minute.
You don't get to rock the big bang theory and the 'let there be light' shyt, they're mutually exclusive. You believe some entity (which you've given the ability to talk...) existed and created the universe. The big bang theory is not that at all.
"I'm set in my beliefs"You're set in your beliefs and I respect that, but your disagreement does not make your theory more prevalent than mine.
for example, you quote yet another man Unamuno from +100 years ago to disprove my theory of combining text from thousands of years ago + recent evidence of a big bang event. that doesn't work.
God is our Alpha and Omega, meaning he was there before our beginning and will be there after our ending. God is not bound by time as we are.

""
Yeah exactly, so you're saying that time is a man-made concept because it's only applicable to mortal beings.
What? When did I say this?
and why would I care what some churches did to people who correlated The big bang to the Bible. Has nothing to do with me.
......
last comment: Let there be light corresponds directly to the scientific theory of a big bang event
God is in all existence and everything in the cosmos and without God nothing exist, nothing.Assuming there is a creator/God...who created the creator/God?
I know this may seem like a basic, or even nonsensical question...but fukk all that when you sit down and really think about it...it's deep as fukk.
Some will say that God has always existed...well how can something even exist without first having been created?
This shyt is keeping me up at night.
Thoughts?
And this is not an anti-religion thread...I'm legitimately trying to reconcile this shyt .
