99% of the time, the kids get fed first, but to be fair, 99%, the kids and I are the ones eating dinner together.
Only time husband gets fed first is when he tells me he is hungry or actually intends on eating my cooking.

How you gonna be a grown ass man and put yourself before your kids? Let them get their food first. It's not like y'all won't be eating at the same time usually. Especially if they're younger children and not teenagers doing their own thing. Shoot if they a teenager and older, they can serve themselves. Wife be doing all the cooking and you can't even grab a plate from the kitchen and throw some of the food on it? There's enough for everyone, it's not that serious.
