Everything is Love

All trash to mid

Jay one of the GOATs, can be argued as the GOAT and all of these albums have a few joints on them but overall, I can’t truly revisit these. Just too much filler, awful production, cringy lyrics and just really bad songs in hindsight lol

I wouldn’t add 4:44 I think that was Jay last good album and it clears all the others listed

Hov is in my Top 5.... when I say "MID".... its comparing to his level and Nas level.... those albums were "great" if you put it against hip hop in general

Relistened to Hov whole discography a few years back without skipping. BP2, KC, BP3 and MCHG are a straight up chore to sit through. Cynical, soulless, pandering ass albums :scusthov:Nastradamus and Nasir way easier to sit through than those.

Vol. 1 through Dynasty all basically I Am... status. High level rapping for the most part, some great tracks, some very good ones, but about half the songs got some combination of weak hooks and beats that aged poorly. But same Hovengers that hold I Am against Nas will tell you shyt like Vol. 1 and Dynasty are classics :scusthov:

Like someone else said if Blueprint 2 was one disk and better songs were used in the reissue it would have been a great album. I messed with disk 2 a lot more than disk 1

I wish Jay and Nas could jump on some super current beats and just make a dope album. Ppl act like current rappers are better just bc of "vibes"

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Nas got a bunch of really bad albums, and each time he managed to make a decent project, he tried to make a bunch of copies of that same album so him pretty easily

Gnauze is synonomous with Mid

nas release a whole 6pack of mid in like 2 years:scusthov:

then add everything after god’s son:scusthov:
What I imagine Bowles was saying under his mask after SMB gave up the 1st down.
