No Limit had more impact on the music business but Cash Money had a much larger cultural &musical impact.

Nah, No Limit actually had a larger cultural impact as well. Although army fatigues were a staple in the 90's, No Limit made it bigger than what it already was.

Musically, what separated No Limit from CMR is there werw R&B artists that went to NoLimit for features and/or production from Montell Jordan to Mya to Destiny's Child. CMR didn't get that until the YMCMB era.

This is a laughable question when you consider Cash Money existed prior to No Limit as a actual label, Wayne is probably the single most influential rapper stylistically to contemporary rap, Back Dat Azz Up is STILL in rotation nationwide in clubs, Their Hot Boys era sound informs the sounds in scenes as disperate as modern day Detroit dboy music, and currently in the year of our Lord, 2018, cash money has 2 of the top 3 songs in America

No Limit. CMR came up off No Limit's blueprint:

- Flashy Pen & Pixel graphics. Eightball & MJG introdiced Pen & Pixel, but No Limit made those graphics synonymous with its brand

- Advertising several upcoming releases complete with album cover inside the booklet

- Keeping everything in house

No Limit's greatest impact was it had a business model that will never be duplicated. They dropped 30 albums in one year and most of them were successful. Each album kind of piggybacked off the previous release.

In regard to Pen & Pixel, I already acknowledged that Ball & G had already introduced Pen & Pixel. They were using them before CMR and No Limit. When No Limit got hot those covers became more gaudy and outlandish to the point of parody. Those early CMR covers were tame in comparison vs the CMR covers from late '97 through the '00's.

P was from the N.O., so that slang was a part of his culture as well.

No Limit had everything in house, not just producers.

CMR still came up off of No Limit. That is a fact. So, whatever impact you're attributing to them is partially because of the effect of No Limit's impact. Before No Limit blew, CMR was still indy and didn't have anywhere near the impact of No Limit until late '98/early '99 after No Limit blew up. Many fans of No Limit became fans of CMR.

There are classic No Limit songs that still get play outside of "Down 4 My N's". That was just the last classic song No Limit dropped.

CMR had bigger impact. People need to stop trying to associate their success with No Limit. They were moving units in the South when P was still trying to be like Dru Down and the Luniz
