Knew some white guys that would always invite me to these clubs. Always thought it would be way too awkward for me to be there though, especially since I'm not all too familiar with the genre.

Black people twerk more than ever, black people grind more than ever, but we dont dance like that. In the 70's, 80's, 90's everybody was dancing. I go out to all places, where are these mythical black clubs where everybody dancing? All I see is dudes doing the 2chainz 2step with their elbows in the air, girls swaying back and forth, but i dont consider that dancing. A whole lot of standing around, checking your phone, looking at yourself in the mirror.
People were not dancing like that in the 90s

How old are you??? I'm 32 breh, I been clubbing since I had to sneak in or bumrush the door in the late 90's. Yeah they always had the hip hop blend for the thugs, but when the dance music was played literally the WHOLE CLUB would be dancing.
That's how it is now.
