Damn fellas, sounds horrible. I just don't feel marriage is worth the risk.

True man.

Everything in life has good/bad consequences.

One one hand, who wants to be 50 years old and come home to a lonely house or be at a work function and everyone there has their wives?

On the flip side, marriage can go wrong and zap u of all that you worked, the woman can talk bad to ur kids about you, and leave you :to:

I see a bunch often newly weds on FB. Half of them won't make it. They don't even know the tragedy ahead.

The same signs you see in any relationship that is falling apart is the same thing you see in a divorce. The only difference with divorce is that it takes longer to manifest. You can see shyt falling apart, but it happens very slowly and can be agonizing. You spend so much energy into making it work simply because it's a "marriage", where if it was a regular relationship you probably would have told her to kick rocks. I think the biggest downer comes from trying to save the marriage, yet it still fails. But I think we try to save it because there is so much more to lose (finances, property, kids, etc.)

How many of yall have been thru a divorce? I'm currently going thru it and it is tough as hell emotionally and financially, and it's messy cause there are children involved. How did you deal and do you have any tips on how to get through it without needing psych meds? Props

Here man I'll help you out I went thru a divorce before with kids.

She left me but didnt have the balls to file for divorce so I filed got custody of my kids and put in my divorce decree due to child neglect you only get supervision visitation and she signed that bytch and i got custody of my kids primarily and she pays child support.

I wanted them cuz i was the better parent and how she left was beyond fukked up cuz she did it on our son's birthday. Anyways finacially didnt effect me cuz she didnt want anything she just wanted to have fun and party

How i dealt with it. No lie it was hard only the first couple days after that I was fine just because I knew we were eventually gonna get a divorce 2 yrs before she left me cuz I was the one gonna do it but I got too sick to file divorce and was going thru the process of getting test and therapy done and then getting out of the military so it would be bad timing but i knew once things settle down i could focus on it.

My ex was no good to be honest and when i got sick and she didnt support me and help out my mind was already out the door on leaving her just bad timing so when she left which did hurt briefly i was already mentally checked out but what made it hurt so bad and unexpectedly was how she didnt give a shyt bout our kids that caught me off guard.

You just have to be strong for your kids and set the right example and be there for them dont worry bout your ex focus on your kids is the primarily goal and trust me it will get you thru anything

Damn... This sh!t sad.

I just got married last year :merchant:

So far so good, everything has been great.

Of course everybody keeps saying "Just Wait"

As much as I want to say it won't happen to us I seen it happen to alot of couples that I wouldn't have expected.

I'm just appreciating and enjoying the good times while their here cause I might be looking back later and saying "remember when sh!t was lovely back in 12'"

My parents were together my whole life so I haven't seen the results of divorce up close but it sounds like hell.

Keep ya head up brehs
