Go look at everyone drafted after Bijan Robinson.

Jalen Carter and maybe Darnell Wright are players they could have taken instead of Bijan who could have a bigger impact.

The Lions used the 12 pick on a RB as well.
You have no issue with it tho.

You can't trade unless someone wants to trade into that spot. This isn't a video game.

This same franchise used the 4th pick in the draft on a tight end. That's a much bigger issue.
So you seem to recognize this franchise’s history of poor draft decisions.

Falcons aren't far away. Odds are they miss the playoffs due to a tiebreaker. They're woefully coached. Raheem is a problem there. Very inconsistent.

They keep Bijan's touches managed so they don't run him into the ground and it's a weak division in general. He's in a good spot.
Well Raheem gonna be back next year, so they are fukked.

You ignored everything else. How convenient.

Here's a simple question.

Who should the Falcons have drafted instead of Bijan?

You even have the advantage of hindsight now.

Only person you can say would make a bigger impact would be Carter(or Puka, but he wasn't going that high).

Using 1.8 on Bijan is no issue. He's provided all-pro level production. That's all you can ask for out of your high draft picks.

The hindsight doesn’t matter. They didn’t have to draft anyone. They could have acquired assets. They also could have drafted someone else who might have developed better than they did on their current teams.

I’m struggling to find ways to explain this to you guys.

Let’s try another example.
Trey McBride is probably the best Tight End in football. Would it be right to draft him 8th overall?

No. It doesn’t matter how good he is. That’s just a bad value at that draft position.

It’s the same as the Raiders taking Janikowski in the first round.

I’m legitimately baffled that you guys don’t understand this.

Dude I’m not the guy who upped a 3 year old thread.
Youre the guy who was wrong then about a player you admittedly didnt watch much of and are still wrong.

You cant POSSIBLY say its the Falcons who are falling short of building around him. Ignore their dysfunction…he as a top 3 player in the league isnt moving the needle and holds responsibility. :russ:

This is prime “I want to be right in the coli no matter what” shytty behavior 101

This isn't Madden. There's no trade down button. Who was moving up to 8 that year and for what player?

The Falcons are bad because of the THOUGHT PROCESS that made them draft a RB 8th overall.

It was a bad process with Kyle Pitts. It doesn’t suddenly become a good process with Bijan Robinson.

You’re just going to ignore this reality for the LOLs.

It’s all good though.

Where's the same smoke for the Lions drafting Gibbs @ 12?

I don't recall you saying a damn thing when the Cowboys drafted Zeke 4th or when the Giants took Saquon 2nd.

1. I don’t see the point of this whataboutism. What about Gibbs? What about Zeke? What about Saquon? I didn’t support those either.

2. The Lions haven’t won with Gibbs. The Cowboys didn’t win with Zeke. And the Giants didn’t win with Saquon. So as good as all those players were/are…their teams got poor relative value.

Now I’ve answered several questions here.

It would be nice if you guys could answer why value seemingly doesn’t matter in the draft since you guys are completely ignoring that part of this discussion.

A top 3 player in the league is a top 3 player in the league.

NFLs leading rusher got a ring last year and you still post this jive.

This is all about you “winning on the coli at all costs” shyt
