U must have never heard the psc in the streets series. Gucci mane underground impact is nowhere as big as tips in Atlanta. Tip has p diddly host one of his shyts just based off pure street buzz. Tip really birth the shyt outta Gucci and all these other trap rappers, he's them nikkas blueprint. And yes Sam is a Atlanta hip hop legend.

Ask any nikka from Atlanta who the legends are I bet

Kast, goodie, kilo, Raheem, Sam, tip come up a lot more frequent than Gucci.

LOL ain't that the truth. Hip Hop don't respects its pioneers and its innovators. TIP made the trap sub-genre and you have people say that Gucci made it. :childplease:

These nikkas don't know

Tip and toomp>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>jeezy and shawty redd>>>>>Gucci and zay

Cats trying to re-write history and say that TIP, who dropped "I'm Serious" back in 2001 with the trap sub-genre say that Gucci made the sound popular? :heh:

Even Jeezy had the whole rap game going nuts with TM101 and spiraled clones of him.

Everytime I tell people who don't live in GA or are Internet hipsters that Wop fell off in 09 and that Jeezy/Tip had more impact on the city they swear I'm trollin. Gucci had a nice mixtape run but I can't remember a moment like "Can't Ban The Snowman" or when I heard Dope Boyz for the first time :wow:

Raheem and Kilo don't get enough respect either.

I'm still tryna figure out how a nikka not from Atlanta gone try 2 tell a nikka born and raise in Atlanta about Atlanta hip hop history. Out of the 1000 songs that Gucci dropped I can think of bout 20 that really got major play in the city. Like the ones u really heard forreal forreal. And I ain't hating on Gucci cuz I'm sure I bumped Gucci before him

Gucci Mane is more known for his antics than the songs on mixtapes. Jezzy kept it 100% on the music and had everyone bumping his shyt from 04-early 09. Gucci Mane never made a song like "Go Crazy" and go multi-platinum with a hard single like that.

Drake..... Jay-Z.... Diddy....

Do any of you fukkin idiots know what an OVER ACHEIVER IS?

it's like everybody is coming from a random ass angle.... How is Jay-Z an overacheiver? I don't get it... he's a decent rapper that has a following..

When someone OVER ACHEIVES.... that means they did something AGAINST ODDS.... What odds did Jay-Z play against? Please, due tell....

Eminem = Overacheiver because he was a whiteboy and nobody takes whiteboys serious
Gucci Mane = Nasal flow

I guess you can say Drake cus he came from Canada

But a lot of names yall throwing out there, makes no sense.... If you say such and such is an over acheiver, I can say anyone else is an overacheiver: I guess since Jay was an overacheiver, so was master P.. So was lil wayne.... So was DMX.... so was Biggie....

You fukkin idiots think EVERY STAR that blows up is an over acheiver:bryan::bryan::bryan::bryan:

2008 was the year I remember everyone fukking with Gucci more than anything. By that third album people were a little shaky on Jeezy.

Those were fukking events. Had Diddy in The South trying to sign both of them, put Jeezy in a fukking thug boy band with Jody Breeze lol. I still remember the snowman tall t everyone had.

TI started off big in 2002 - 2006... And then he left the streets of ATL and started making "Whatever you like".... Gucci started off 2004 - 2013 and music is still resonating in the streets of ATL...

And he made Waka / Juice, 2 other respected ATL artists... Waka / Juice >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Bob / Dro in the streets.

But you keep on with your warped sense of thinking bro. Just cus you were born in ATL don't make you right. I was there for 10 years so I can speak on the subject too.

I don't know anyone that play Gucci in they ride since 2009 and he definitely didn't blow til 05. Waka had a good year in 2009-10 definitely. People fukk with Dro and BoB believe it or not. Not to mention nikkas like Yola who came and went. TI has seen a ton of good artist on that Grand Hustle roster.

Gucci and Jeezy were neck-to-neck on the street popularity in 08. Jeezy made "My President is Black" and made heads vibe with him during the Obama election, which edged him out. Gucci Mane was GOD back in 09 when Jeezy shyts starting flopping and his mixtapes weren't as good.

Bruh what's the last waka and juice songs that were big in the city???? fukk that bytch got more love than damn near them nikkas whole careers in the city this year.

And u keep saying who Gucci made. Tip birthed Gucci and jeezy, they will never be higher than him on a atl legends list. He has far more legendary songs, so does kast, so does kilo, so does Raheem.

Matter of fact name me some legendary Gucci songs in the city and I'm not saying he doesn't have any but them shyts is on two different levels

nikkas saying tip them mainstream lol. They are mainstream because of how successful they were underground. It's a reason them nikkas blew up and gucci didn't. And yeah Gucci did own 09, nikka headlined birthday bash and everything.
