Diddy

Went from occasional back up dancer to half a billi multi-media mogul, all with little to no talent other than being the best hustler hip hop has ever seen.

/thread
This is the only correct answer. Dude has no discernible talent. He can't rap. He can't sing. He can't dance. He can't play any instruments. He can't even make beats. All that said and he's a hip hop legend, is worth over half a billion dollars and still relevant. Biggest overachiever in hip hop history.

the best coast
diddy owns this thread. beyond a few good beats dude is talentless.

lil wayne is a close second. dont get me wrong i was into him heavy until about 2 years ago :whoa: but a lot of his success is luck. had he been born 5 years earlier or later he would be in the bushes right now.

Imma say Biggie for a nikka who has two albums he gets much respect and has a lot of influence on a lot of these MCs.

Jay-Z I don't understand how he got so rich damn near talking about the same thing every album.

Tupac basically the same thing with biggie only a lot more albums and influence he made a big impact in the short time he was here.

That's my answer, Big is soooo overrated. I even hear nikkas like jada and nore bragging about how they smoked blunts with him to this day. I just don't see the fascination. Biggy not even the best dead artist from nyc if u ask me...Pun and Big L were both better 2 me.

Damn... Can't believe no one mentioned him..... My fav rapper of all time, so no diss... But it HAS to be Gucci.... no?

-nikka ugly as shyt wit burnt lips so he aint the best looker for the ladies to latch on to

-Not remotely a lyricist

-Has a nasal flow and sounds like his nose is stopped up

-Had the hottest Major label artist in the game, try to kill his career, both literally and figuratively....

Against these odds, what did he accomplish?

-Top 10 street cred in hiphop history
-COUNTLESS classic songs
-Top 5 rap legend in ATL history... Down south rap legend... And arguable rap legend period
-Legion of die hard fans
-Helped launch the careers of: Waka Flocka, French Montana, Nicki Minaj.... You can seriously argue if it wasn't for him, none of them would be where they are now (Waka of course, other 2 arguable)

How the fukk can a nikka who you can barely make out his words accomplish all this?

It's Gucci the Goat.... Winner of this thread hands down.

Gucci rapping with a nasal flow is like Blade Runner winning the 100 meters:heh:...... Seriously it's some shyt that aint supposed to happen.

It's gotta be Diddy. Granted he works hard, but nobody has been so successful at so many things despite not being exceptionally great or in some cases even good at any of them.

No thee fukk he is not. What Atlanta are u talking bout??

Ok lets see:

-Outkast - Check
-Jermaine Dupri - Check

Honestly, thats it....:manny:

As far as ATLANTA LEGENDS, I'm not putting ANYBODY above Gucci Except outkast and JD..... Maybe Lil Jon for what he did production wise...

T.I., Ludacris, Jeezy.... Am I putting them AHEAD of Gucci as far as ATL legend?:camby::camby::camby::camby::camby::camby::camby:

Gucci been running Atlanta since 2005.... From Black tee to Icey to Trap house to Freaky girl to Bricks to **Insert 40 songs here**... To cosigning Waka / Oj... To his flood of Mixtapes.... GUCCI RUN ATLANTA nikka... Don't know what the fukk you heard....

You aint never stepped foot in ATL if it's 5 people you'd put ahead Gucci on the ALL TIME ATLANTA Legend list...:camby:

And to put the nikka over t.i. On a Atlanta legend list foh.

You obviously got some bias against Gucci, I get it.... I was actually going to make a spin off thread until I see these names you listing, and it's no point...

You got your own warped perception of an ATL legend, probably cus you born and raised....

It'd be like if I say HBK is a top 5 WWE legend of all time, and you come back and say some shyt like, "Hell no he aint! what about Flashy Freddy Blassie... blah blah" and a bunch of other old school ass nikkas...

Just cus them nikkas older or came first, don't mean they had a bigger impact on the city then Gucci. I believe you truly believe the shyt you saying, but that don't make it true.

T.I., Ludacris, even Jeezy... They are higher than Gucci on the all time RAP LEGENDS list.... But not on the ATL LIST... there's a difference.

Gucci not an ATL legend... he an ATL ICON.... T.I. was a mainstream star, not an "ATL" star so much... Or not as much as Gucci was, at least....

And for you to say a fukkin Hitman Sammy Sam AND T.I. are both ahead of gucci is just corny... A mainstream nikka and an underground nikka....? Make up your mind on your argument / angle :camby:
