Still Stafford for me

He played 7 teams with 11 or more wins and won 12 games.

Im jaded tho because the QB of my team makes a living off putting numbers up against bad teams :francis:

Between last year and this year, the MVP award is becoming a joke. No QB deserves it this year but alas, here we are

A QB, second in passing yards and threw for 46 TDs and only 8 picks, doesn’t deserve it? He’s got 12 wins on the season.

Who do you think deserves it?

Gonna be very difficult for voters to overlook the legacy/sympathy bump when Stafford's raw numbers are all either close or better. Maye has an edge on some advanced metrics but when you get into the weeds on that it was against opponents that combined as the 32nd ranked pass defense , while Stafford's opponents came out as top 5.

Drake Maye has the edge over Stafford in most stats but the passing touchdown disparity is so glaring between them. Ultimately, I think Stafford is gonna win it

Looked it up, Peyton won in 2008. That’s the only time that I see since the NFL went to divisional play.

Pats have had a very soft schedule no doubt…. Typically that’s not really factored in when voting is done

2012, Adrian Peterson

I can see it going either way, but I think Stafford is going to get the lifetime achievement award this year. Other than raw totals for TD's and passing yards as Stafford throws it a lot more than Maye, he is behind in many other major statistical categories compared to Maye. You shouldn't be able to finish third in the division and win MVP.

I find it hilarious that the "odds" had Maye as a heavy favorite going into the games yesterday, and then Statford pads his stats against a poor Cardinals team and jumps ahead. And, no, it's not the same as Maye "padding" against the Jets and the odds changing because the Patriots were still playing for the number one seed AND the Rams lost to the Falcons that week.

The Rams were playing for the No.5 seed, to face Carolina rather than Philly or Chicago.

Drake Maye deserves it. Against common opponents Maye is 6-0/Stafford is 4-2. Also, we really gonna have the MVP award go to a wildcard team?

Don’t wanna hear shyt about divisions because Josh Allen won last year in the same shytty division.

It's been done in 2012, 2008, 2003, 2000, 1997...
Y'all acting like it's something unheard of.
