These guys are multi millionaires through Music though!

Come on...
Of course that's nice, but what is luck?

Bill Gates is rich of computers, why is that less luck? He's lucky that his father gave him access to computers when few people had it.

Eminem for example, Dre found his EP in the trash or something, that is super luck but could he have made it in any event? Who knows. There's causes for everything and if it leads to something good that's "luck". As far as ranking luck, one could say that Bleek is luckier than Jay cause if Jay didn't know Clark Kent none of them would be here. It's impossible to compare random people though, like Em and Jay.

Nah they was playing 50 shot ya on the radio like it was a single. First time I ever heard mixtape songs on the radio. In da club was cool but he could've put out anything n it would've went. The buzz was that crazy. I was there n im talking bout ny. N he jus finished getting shot up and black balled while still waring wit nikkas in his hood. 50s luck stopped at surviving 9 shots keeping his voice and limbs in tact. Everything else was str8 hustle n being clever.

This thread is some hater shyt. Only way this list is valid is if u put str8 weed carriers or ig viral rappers. Nobody makes it that far as the nikkas u talking about wit out some type of grind involved.

I was in the Bronx Christmas 2002 and I remember the hype being fukkin insane. To this day I haven't heard a bigger and more hyped club record than "In Da Club". shyt... Wanksta had me like

Come to think of it, Wanksta's not listed in greatest disses. And it should be. It was absolutely huge.

Yup.. but with a jump off like In Da Club, any follow ups will be hits too.
It's the sophomore blessing.

Games debut was better right. Let's be honest.

Btw I had power of the dollar, how to rob.
I don't hate 50, it just all comes back to my original point..
His huge record sales which surpass Jay Z album for album.. they are all down to In Da Club.
How old are you? Anything 50 would've released at that point would've blown. His buzz was crazy

Since when has a hit song led to other songs becoming hits? Wtf:mjlol:

THIS !!!! this is the only right answer. nikkas is not talented at all.. all his albums are flops minus the unforgettable song. he carried himself to A-List while smashing A List celebs, Khloe, Salaan, Evelyn etc etc

face of ciroc and all sorts.. while having ZERO talent

Whoever mentioned 50 had a point, i mean look at where he is now, Buisness man, TV series & Movies etc, still think he woulda blew up regardless but without radio friendly hits & shyt for the females he wouldn't of ever been as big a superstar as he was/is

Im still pissed that this was never released as a single on any of his earlier albums, to me this is an absolute banger & catchy as fukk, had he of put this out propperly & polished it up abit it would have been a bit a huge radio hit imo.

Like I already said, his buzz was big in rap circles only.
In Da Club went mainstream huge.

You've never heard of a follow up being successful because of a huge debut?
How old are you?
That's common as hell, because the fans are gained off the strength of the first single and the buzz is strong for the next one even if it's poor.
Back in the day we would buy follow ups without hearing them.

I am not saying 50 is a one hit wonder btw, I am saying again that he got the best lead single in hip hop history from a success starting point perspective.

50 is lucky??? I was 10 when his album came out, and the homie at the local electronic store gave me the :comeon:, but told me "Nah, ya little nikkas need this heat" and sold it to me and my friend. He could've dropped anything and people would've eaten it up. He had people begging their moms for G-Unit sneakers. Made everyone drop Ja-Rule like they weren't listening to "Always On Time" a couple of months ago. 50 had NYC on total lockdown. That shyt could never be replicated, this is why people say NY is dead. We can't top 50's rise, and who ever gets close is going to be compared to him. shyt was legendary.

Chingy, dudes first album went triple solely riding the coattails of Nelly. If Nelly never blows up, he doesn't either
