Nah they was playing 50 shot ya on the radio like it was a single. First time I ever heard mixtape songs on the radio. In da club was cool but he could've put out anything n it would've went. The buzz was that crazy. I was there n im talking bout ny. 50 is lucky??? I was 10 when his album came out, and the homie at the local electronic store gave me the , but told me "Nah, ya little nikkas need this heat" and sold it to me and my friend. He could've dropped anything and people would've eaten it up. He had people begging their moms for G-Unit sneakers. Made everyone drop Ja-Rule like they weren't listening to "Always On Time" a couple of months ago. 50 had NYC on total lockdown. That shyt could never be replicated, this is why people say NY is dead. We can't top 50's rise, and who ever gets close is going to be compared to him. shyt was legendary.
